No staff members anywhere. All piled at the till talking bad about customers then rudely speak to customers. Shop floor looks awful and untidy. No wonder the shop is dying down.
Disappointing experience at Sports Direct. A new staff member was left unsupervised at the till and ended up scanning a defective item. He couldn’t figure out how to remove it, so I was told I had to pay for it and then go through the entire return and exchange process. It was unnecessarily long and a complete waste of time, all because there was no proper support or supervision in place. Thank you to the senior management I met during the exchange process who stepped in and sorted things out. They were helpful, but this situation should’ve been handled better from the start.
Went into the store over the weekend and was poorly greeted by some tall girl upstairs. Wasn’t very helpful at all. Another girl came over and was very helpful but the first girl was still rude to the poor member of staff
Store was supposed to close at 7pm tonight but the shutters were half down and doors locked by 6.45pm tonight.
Asked 3 times to try some shoes on, been told they sending someone right away. 20 min later nothing happened. Its not even busy day and and some members of staff can be seen walking around having a laugh.
Why is there a phone number?! Neve neverr ever answered, doesn't matter when you ring! I was overcharged - as you cannot see what is being wrung up - check your recipient at the till & do not worry about the queue behind you, that is their fault not yours.
Staff to busy having a social, could not be bothered attitude.. Rude wearing coats with hoods up. Very poor customer service
Truly appalling customer service..looking for trainers, no one on shop floor..went downstairs, one girl serving a customer so asked a chap for help. He said would send someone to me..10 minutes, no one came..had picked out 5 or 6 in my size so waiting to have the left shoes brought to try on..a further 10 to 15 minutes and I gave up..left the trainers in a pile and left the shop. The chap who I asked to help was stood outside the shop drinking coke with another shop assistant. So, a sure sale worth about £50-80 lost and I probably won't go there again..the shop was not in the least busy, just apathetic staff.
Like most of their stores. However, we were disappointed in the small amount of shoes for women compared to men. My wife has decided to wait until we get home from holiday to buy some from our local store which has plenty for women.
