    I really love it in the hair and hounds, it's got old, classic English pub through and through, the atmosphere is usually quiet and relaxing when I've visited. I've been for the Sunday roast many times with family as they have decent prices. My parents in law will only go here when they visit and are working their way through the menu as the OAP prices are very competitive. Hope they stay as warm and pleasant here always.

    Dog unfriendly - No Dogs sign on the front door and pointed out by the bar maid. Bit ironic given the name of this pub - should be called The Hare & No Hounds. Looks like a nice pub otherwise.

    Fish and chips were stellar and rival that of the finest chippy. The staff were a bit reserved and gave me looks. Then again I'm a strange looking guy so who could blame them? Atmosphere was beautiful and seemed clean overall. Would definitely return.

    5 star local pub! Super friendly bar staff, working very hard. We were served by a tiny white punky looking lady, black hair. Just popped in for a quick drink, was really warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend for a pit stop! Food looked and smelled good, reasonable pricing. We will return.
