   Worst experience eve. Ordered my mum’s birthday present 8/7/23. Excitedly went to fetch it, only to find a notice on the front door saying they’re shut due to technical issues. Rung their number, thought I was being put through to the store. The guy on the phone said he spoke to the staff and they said they have a power outage. Correct me if I’m wrong, but is a power outage meant to mean no lights on at all. All the lights were on in the store along with the their display cabinets and areas as per the photo. Three staff about the place doing nothing and someone on the phone laughing and giggling as if to say they’re having some sort of a personal conversation. No product, ruined elderly disabled mother’s birthday. Oh and before anyone say anything, I live over an hour away, birthday party is the next day and I’m not back in the area for another 4 days. So thanks Argos staff at Riverside Norwich.

2. V 33 ★☆☆☆☆

   Bought an item from the self service desk, then collected it from the collection desk. The member of staff Pawel handed in the item and didn’t even greet me even after I said hello. I then asked about warranty and he said that the screen where I bought the item from would say how long the warranty was for and then told me to go check for myself. Very rude and unprofessional, will not use this Argos again.

   This store don’t know their own Argos policies. I was told you couldn’t return an opened item. But their policy says: -Original packaging -Resaleable Condition - Proof of Purchase How could you know if the products right if you don’t open the box? Don’t be fobbed off by the staff, make sure you have a print out or the website information available. I was also told if I didn’t have my original card he would have had to put it on a gift card? A pointless comment as I did have my original card. I found the return process long and distrusting, I bought 4 items and only 1 was suitable - no need to treat me like a crook.

   Julie, Maria and Ross are exceptional members of staff! They had a very complex return/exchange to deal with due to Cambridge stores error! I’m that happy with their service I actually remembered their names off the top of my head nearly a week later! I definitely wouldn’t of purchase anything else from here if it wasn’t for these guys in norwich riverside. Their knowledge and customer service skills are excellent! Thank you guys.

   I've found the click and collect service at this store efficient and friendly. And I've not had any problems with products. (Other than with some rather challenging self assembly furniture. I once accidentally demolished a coffee table in 5 minutes.) I rarely return items, but on the few occasions I have, I've been refunded without too much quibbling.

   Click and collect, easy right? No, ordered two items and told to collect. Get there one is damaged, they have to cancel and reorder but 30mins later they can't and basically tell me to wait indefinitely or walk away. What kind of a shop can't sell you goods? 30 minutes drive and 30 minutes wait wasted thanks for nothing.
