The pub was very accommodating, since it had finished serving food. Definitely going back on our way past.
We visited The George and Dragon on a Saturday as a couple and also enjoyed a stay in one of Thier Pods. The food in the pub was delicious the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming the staff were lovely. The Pods are fantastic! It was the perfect little weekend getaway, cleanliness was great, the facilities were perfect making it perfect place to relax. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Not bad. A good place to stop off for a quick pint. I remember it being packed most night so it's hard to feel good about it when there were only 4 of us there. Likely not their fault with the economy etc... But a few small tricks could work too bring in more customers.
Lovely classic English pub. Pool table, proper pub grub, and ales. Haven't eaten here, but the food we saw looked tasty and wholesome.
lovely pub. we was on holiday so 4 off us just walked in and ordered meal each. chef on that night was brilliant. food lovely and hot no complaints at all. would go again.
Hayley the landlady welcomes you with a smile and asking how you are.The food for us is homely and hot just right for these days. It has a very warm atmosphere and customers very polite. Love it to bits.
I went in for dinner with a friend, We couldn't fault it. Lovely home cooked pub food, welcoming staff in a cosy atmosphere. I will definitely be back again to try their winter menu.
