Traditional pub, with amazing food. The beer is great, there is always something going on. Sunday roast was incredible, and the rest of the menu can't be beaten. Love it.

Update Oct 25 Another perfect meal and visit. Apr 25 Another superb meal. The ham was amazingly tasty and quite thick cut. Battered fish and chips was great, huge piece of fish. Excellent value. Great pint of Moongazer and really friendly service.

We visited for lunch today - so hard to choose from the extensive & interesting menu. I opted for the fish pie - an excellent choice - it was fantastic. My husband had the pie of the day and again it was fantastic. A great choice of beer too. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

A lovely old world pub, staff was lovely, unfortunately we found the food disappointing, I had ham egg and chips, the ham was very wet not like homebaked ham, my son had the steak ciabatta he said it was tasty

One of the best places to eat that I've been in a long time. The food was fantastic with a wide choice of specials, there was a nice range of beers on tap, good music and a very traditional pub feel about it. Would definitely recommended.

Pub full of local regular customers enjoying a good chat. Food tasty and plenty of it. Friendly staff. Some quirky decor. Very relaxed with children and dogs welcome. Proper pub.

Marvellous. A proper pub, not a massive empty room with a bar as so many are these days. We had a lovely meal, (game pie for me). The beer was good and the staff, both bar bar and kitchen were polite and professional. The next time we're in the area, we will be visiting again.

Dog friendly pub a must to visit, staff & landlord always happy to see you, even strangers like us, & so helpful. Popped in for a real ale pint at lunchtime saw the menu booked for dinner the same night, what a treat the food was perfect no complaints from all 8 of us. Would recommend to book as they get busy . Keep it up landlord 5* from us thank you.

First time here, staying in the area, looking after a friend's dog. This is their local, so had to try it Had a Rack of Ribs, partner had Pie of the Day, Steak and Stout. Both very nice. Would recommend it! Dog friendly!

Popped in today as me and mate was in the area going to Norwich United FC in the afternoon so we called in to have a couple of pints of local cider, what a great old pub this is. Full of character and they serve real cider too.
