They had filipino buffet on the day we came,nice food. then karaoke...a bit far from the main road, but the view is worth the travel.

Visited the pub on Sunday 25th Sept 2022 to find pub was permanently closed, although there were dirty wine glasses on the step outside main entrance door. From local knowledge this pub opens and closes periodically without notice. It is pot luck whether it is open when you visit, wouldn't advise a special journey though. Looked to be new decking being laid to the side of premises, so something is happening, no notices displayed to advise if re-opening is planned. Is on a beautiful stretch of the River Yare but approaching via road it is very disappointing, looks as though a scrapyard or beginnings of one are happening on the side of the road and also static caravans being sited, spoils the area totally. Also, the road is very uneven, broken in some parts, care is needed along here.
Moored up free for the night . Place has had some much renovation it looks fantastic. Well stocked bar brilliant staff. Pub grub menu was cooked well and tated great. Absolutely a great.place to visit either by boat or car. Lovely location. We will defo Moor here again.

Lovely spot to relax by the river watching the sun slowly set from the expanse for our Norfolk sky. The pub is remote and currently pretty basic but it looks like they are working on improvements, however the location and peaceful setting make it a worthwhile little trip. Chilled Aspalls Cyder is always a great summer thirst quencher, we will definitely be going back to enjoy another pint or two.
New refurbished , fantastic location by the boards . Excellent value food, generous portions. 2022 update,seems to be shut,weird , someone had spent money on it,shame.Sign on junction should address if open/shut.
