A good pub with friendly staff. It’s great to have a child-friendly pub with easy parking, which makes visits stress-free. The playground is a great addition, though it could use a quick jet wash to freshen it up. Overall, a welcoming place for families
First time ever using this establishment. Nice clean and well maintained premises with a nice beer garden at the back and seating out the front. The bar staff (Katie with an ie and not a y) was welcoming and with a good sense of humour. Couldn't fault her her warmth and friendliness towards new customers. I'll make an allowance for her inability to make a heart in the head of a pint of Guinness. She tried and I think the management should pay her double time to practice until she can pull off a shamrock! The rest of the staff were equally as friendly and professionally. Great boozer. Reasonably priced. Will definitely return.
Great pub! Lovely food and welcoming hosts. Had a great time playing darts. Had the hunter's chicken and pulled pork dirty fries, both yummy! Keep up the good work :)
Amazing food done with love and passion
Visited for a funeral wake. Cosy and comfortable. Friendly staff. Food was delicious. Toilets were spotless. The garden area looked lovely too.
Expected adequate pub grub when I went in, but got a lovely meal, beautifully cooked and presented. Vegetables were properly cooked from fresh, and plentiful. Excellent value and a pleasant relaxing atmosphere too.
Just left the Rams Head pub on our way back to Lancashire after having eaten a perfect full flavour Sunday roast . Delicious !!!!! The landlady was so so friendly . Such a shame we live so far away it would have been our local and I'm sure the landlady a friend. If passing you must go there !
