Went in on a quiet Thursday afternoon and happy to see a local pub with a good moderately sized crowd of locals propping up the bar. Felt looked after and the beer was kept brilliantly. This is a hidden Norwich gem

A traditional style boozer free of pretensions and just there to serve you a decent pint with the locals. Clean and well kept premises with a nice large beer garden. Pool table and dart board inside. Friendly landlord and the locals seem happy to accept an unfamiliar face popping in for a pint.

Decided to pop along for some midweek Karaoke. Rare to find somewhere to croon on a Wednesday!The pub staff are excellent, very customer focused. The locals are friendly and welcoming. The layout of the pub means the singing takes place in the middle, with seating and a pool table on each side. This might not be ideal but it adds to the fun.If you like a traditional local pub experience, this is for you. I haven't been there on a weekend, but live sports are shown.
I visited this Pub today Sunday 3 April had 2 lovely pints of Ghost Ship & found The Landlady friendly & obviously her regulars who spoke to me. Please if you live near here support this lovely PUB to keep it open.
