Stayed at Townhouse and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Decided on our last night to invite family to stonehouse for dinner! It was 50 % off pizza day and boy not only were they delicious but a fab deal! I had the carvery, and the beef was very juicy, roast pots were really crispy but fluffy inside, lots of veggie variety and gravy so flavoursome and thick! Was perfect! Really do rate this place especially for families! Staff can’t do enough for you! Thank you everyone for your hard work!

Stopped in for a last-minute roast dinner on Sunday as my girlfriend and I were craving one, and it turned out to be a great shout. I personally hadn’t been here in years. The food was just what we were after - Big portions with all the classics. Nothing fancy, but it doesn’t need to be, it's good comfort food that does the job. Staff were great too, really friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. All in all, a solid carvery and a good spot if you’re in the mood for something hearty. We'll definitely be back to try the Pizzas at some point.

Place seems lovely. Went there at 7.30 pm, it had been busy and there was only gammon for the carvery. We were offered chicken breasts also and sausage though so happy with that. Pretty good prices. View of the River is pretty. Would definitely go back just earlier for the carvery.

A Delightful Sunday Experience Today, I enjoyed a delightful Sunday carvery accompanied by a refreshing glass of orange juice for lunch. The turkey was moist, and the roast potatoes and vegetables were cooked to perfection—all for a reasonable price of £15.64. My friend and I opted to have our lunch outside to soak in the lovely weather and the beautiful view. Although finding a parking spot can be a bit challenging, I was fortunate enough to secure a space right outside the premises. Overall, it was an enjoyable afternoon, made even better by the welcoming staff!

Went for the Carvery. Service was good, staff helpful and polite to all guests. We were there early in the evening, and the place was fairly quiet. Ordered using the app, and that worked OK - others ordered at the bar. The disappointment was the quality of the food, which had been too long on display. Nothing was hot, and the beef was chewy. The sauces and gravies had developed thick skins, and given how quiet the place was, the portions of meat could have been a bit more generous. Dessert was apple pie, and the custard was tepid. Pie was decent, and a good size portion.

Beautiful location and super friendly staff. Stayed in room 4 which was clean, light and airy and exceptionally comfortable. Well worth a visit. Breakfast wasn't to our liking but it is optional. 30 minute walk into Norwich Town however there is also a bus stop a few metres from The Town House. Several other Riverside pubs to the right, short walk. Loved everything about Norwich and our stay.

Wonderful menu and meals. Great deals each day. Consider getting the app for deals some advertised online require the app. My kids love running outside and it was delightful to see a heron.

Pre ordered dinner via Just-Eat for 5.30 and it turns up 15 mins late. I wish that was the problem. The so called large carvery wasn't large at all and yes I have had one to compare it to. This had no extra sausage, no extra beef/brisket and contained a dollop of mash that had been smashed down into the veg that I hadn't ordered. The stuffing wasn't in two nice balls like usual and the potatoes were blackened. The only thing that was like a large carvery was the two Yorkshire puds. I called up the restaurant straight away and spoke to Adam who took my name, order number and said he would speak to the kitchen to sort it and call me back. Well guess what..... no call and I had to chat again to someone called Maritha. She said she had no drivers to send me another meal out. She said that I would need to buy another dinner to get one or go to Just Eat for a refund. That left me no other option but to get a refund. Totally gutted as the one before had been really nice.

Absolutely amazing drinks had and food with fabulous view's. We both(me and a friend) I was also with my small daughter on the visit. We both had a soft Pepsi from tap which as always was served delightfully, my daughter unfortunately couldn't have a chocolate milkshake or strawberry, she had a fruit shoot she wasn't interested in(she wanted a milkshake) The roast was overall lovely but the beef wasn't the best quality that day unfortunately very fatty and the service isn't brilliant when waiting on the food at the counter to collect your roast. The views however are amazing by the river.
