   We had our wedding reception here on the 25th October. I can’t recommend enough to anyone having any party/wedding reception to have it here. The staff all really friendly, fun and polite, the food was amazing, the venue looked amazing. There was nothing to big or to small that all of the Cottage staff would not do for us if needed. All my guest had the best time, and that’s down to a great this place that made us feel so welcome and helped us make our day so great. This truly will be one of our best memories and we can’t wait to hold another party here. Thank you for all you did for us. The Baileys.

   Had my Dads celebration of life there last night. The staff were wonderful. Would recommend the cottage for any type of get together. Food was very good. They are not stingy with it either. Ordered for forty guest. About 60 turned up plenty of food for everyone. Thank you to the staff at the cottage. You made the evening eseyer for us all in difficult times.

   Fantastic gastro pub. Food is awesome and great service. First time there as we were passing through the area but wouldn't hesitate to return. Nice spacious restaurant - not crammed in shoulder to shoulder. Excellent!

   We went here today for lunch. Never been before but were really impressed by the food and the service which was outstanding. Friday lunchtime and the pub was pretty full. We weren't quite sure of where to sit and a young fella came over, found us a table and brought some menus. All the serving staff were young, friendly and really smartly dressed. The pub was warm and welcoming and it's easy to see why it's so busy. We both ordered the steak and kidney suet pudding which was delicious, served with good veg and very hot. Good selection of real ale. An excellently managed local pub.

   Easy to find, plenty of free parking. Staff were very helpful even though I hadn't booked which is advisable, they still found us a table. Food is very good. Try it you won't be disappointed. Prices are competitive. Definitely i will be going there again soon

   I think The Cottage is a great place for food, and a relaxing drink. Top notch 10/10. It's not a rock N roll kind of place, very much a family environment but good place for a evening out. It also has a function room that is available for HIRE. The staff our always friendly. There is a small play area for the children in the front beer garden.

   First it's been a long time coming leaving this review due covid and a family death, so we apologise for that. The Cottage were simply amazing when we had our wedding function here in July. They were so accommodating, helpful and professional. The food was amazing, it was so tasty, beautifully presented and there was plenty to go round. They assisted with finishing decorations, were there to help guests and just wonderful. They helped make our day so special, it was such a shame it went so quickly! We loved the fact they were so friendly and down to earth, special thanks to Lorraine and Ian for being such great hosts, and the other members of staff who were so helpful. We would recommend the Cottage.
