Nice little country pub, quirky. No food available... not been offering food for a while.... as got told!
Nice local old pub. They are all so welcoming, a local even brought us a pint
This venue no longer serves food.The pool table is shocking and its needs a lil cosmetic attention in places. However it does serve a good array of crisps, peanuts etc. The beer is very cheap. A little above weatherspoons in price. Very large beet garden and a sufficient car park. But like all village pubs is currently under threat if closing after covid. Still though a very friendly pub with a decent landlord.
We had a great time here. It's a bit ramshackle but the beer and wine are good and very reasonable prices (2 pints and 2 rose wines for £13). Lots of places to sit outside and lots are undercover. You order at the door and they bring the drinks out in plastic glasses so very covid safe.
Superb pub. In recent years, the landlord has transformed this place into a true community hub for Lingwood. He's still improving the place incessantly and last I saw he was doing the masonry for the latest expansion by himself! Its very family friendly with good food and a nice selection of real ale from the nearby Humpty Dumpty brewery - I recommend Holt's Honey.
Fantastic food, at more than reasonable prices! Really friendly atmosphere! Beautiful gardens. Lots of pool tables & the Best local pub I have been in for a long time!
