We visited with our 2 well behaved dogs and, despite the pub being virtually empty, we were told we could either sit in a very cold games bar next door or in the garden. It was raining and cold so we opted for the games bar. They advertise as dog friendly on Google but we weren't made to feel welcome at all.

Fabulous find! Brilliant range of beers, cask conditioned and gravity poured. Perfect beer drinking location. Will definitely be back.

Came here a few weeks ago and had the sausage and mash. Staff were very friendly and the pub has a good atmosphere, it is quite small so arrive early to get a table, the food was fantastic and the prices are some of the best I've seen at a pub, will be returning in the future. EDIT: This pub no longer serves food as they shut down the kitchen. Whoever heard of a pub being dumb enough to shut down their kitchen. Dropped my review to 1 star and will never return again. Folks. Go support pubs that actually serve food

Great traditional pub with gravity poured real ales in tip top condition. Bar area is good with an outdoor area which was popular (it's a sunny day). The price of the ale was fair and the service excellent. The pub is about a mile from Norwich railway station and there are nearby hotels, restaurants and other pubs.

A really great city pub. We went for lunch on a Wednesday. The pub was nice and busy, and warm on a cold day. The menu here is very reasonably priced, and the food is excellent - I wished that I'd had the ham, egg and chips which looked delicious. Great selection of well kept ale and friendly staff who checked that the food was ok and said goodbye as we left. We'll certainly go back. Well done.
