   Purchased 2 tins of paint and one of varnish. The varnish is in excellent condition but the 2 tins of paint are not. One of them has a slight dint in it whereas the other one has several dints and is rusty on the top. This has clearly not happened during transit. I have tried to contact the company to return but they are closed for the Christmas period. Not sure how a company think it is acceptable to send products out to a customer in this state.

   When i placed my order, there was no mention that the goods i was ordering were out of stock (lithium grease & graphite oil), so had to wait a few days for stock to come in. Got a message from the courier they use telling me they would deliver my goods last Friday, so waited in - no delivery, got an other message today (Monday) saying goods would be delivered today, and hey presto. The goods were well packaged, good comms (apart from not being aware of goods not in stock). Cant blame anyone really over the delays, you have to expect it this time of year. But will be buying again from power tools direct as there prices are very good. Thank you.

   Great prices for screws and bolts. I shopped around a lot and these were the best value. Communication lacked a bit as my order didn't arrive on the day I expected and I had to chase to find out why. However, it was corrected and sent by next day delivery, so worked out in the end.

   Abysmal service and aftercare. They charge a fortune for delivery (supposedly next day) don’t despatch until 4 3 days later. Received damaged items in poor packaging which can happen. Can’t get hold of them and email service is disgraceful. Putting the onis

   I ordered an upright air compressor along with hose and digital tyre gauge. Prices were cheaper than I could buy off Ebay or Amazon. Very fast delivery and arrived on day stated. Compressor is better quality than I expected and although its bigger than I thought it would be, it's foot print is small due to being upright. Extremely happy with purchase and would buy from again in future.

   I should have checked the reviews before making a purchase. As others have stated, customer service is rubbish. The pictures on listings don’t match with the titles. Wrong item sent which doesn’t match the picture. Gosia from sales is still clueless and doesn’t understand where they went wrong when clearly they have put up random pictures with different titles. Submitted chargeback as they want me to return the heavy tin which will eat into my refund due to costs.

   Nice price, ordered product then found out later by e-mail that it was out of stock (not shown at time of order), no further stock expected and my order had been cancelled. Refund received promptly. Power Tools Direct need to show stock situation before customers place an order.

   Goods arrived damaged and I contacted them using their online contact form which they claimed they never received. Now goods out of the 28 day returns period I'm stuck with a damaged workbench. Appalling company and unhelpful customer service team. Avoid using this company unless you want damaged goods to be delivered.
