   A true gem of a market. Small, but I picked up the most divine chilli oil & glorious gluten free & vegan deserts which were so delicious! Highly recommend this market.

   Lewes Friday food is a peaceful haven for food buying. Lovely local food stalls including fresh game, fish, organic veg and even a stall dedicated to selling fungi. A fantastic place to visit every week. No, prices are not the lowest in Lewes, but these are all local traders growing and making the best produce possible.

   Truly represents the spirit of lewes. Very diverse and with the friendliest food stall owners. Everyone is very helpful and once you get to know each other, you can still do your weekly shopping even if you've forgotten your purse and pay next time. People are ready to do the extra mile for bringing in other products as well and delivering excellent customer service. It's like one big family. Most definitely my favourite place to shop

   Small but nice, reasonable variety of organic seasonal vegetables at resonable price. One stall with fish and a couple with meat. Interesting street food and healthy juices available. Toilets outside are in good estate.

   Every Friday morning from start of business until lunchtime, a group of local food traders specialising in small-scale farming or production sell their products here. The emphasis is on quality, sustainability and craft. I rarely come away empty-handed after visiting this market.
