Customer service is selective and security seems to follow me every time I only go when I run out of milk think it's the fact they selling off bread and getting away with exploitational prices tbh..
Nice grocery store, staff are helpful. Located right in front of the hotel.
Very rude staff couldnt even be polite with me when I asked a few simple questions didnt expect that.
third time now i go there around 10.45pm ish and they have already closed the doors when they are supposed to close at 11pm. This is horrible especially because is the only shop close to my house and really rude staff aswell told them that it was only 10.45pm and can’t close the doors before 11pm and the employee told me that he doesn’t care and if he wants to close the doors at 10pm he will and if i don’t like it i can go find another shop . This needs to change next time i will be recording this and make sure this shop actually closes .
I was loitering outside as my (for legal reasons) acquaintances went in to buy some supplies, the outside was clean, the crack head spoke good English, but some random bonehead took great offence to me being friendly. Luckily a random dog appeared and was friendly, I think his name was RJ, but that might have been the person injecting himself, I don’t think he had diabetes come to think of it! But they were both friendly
Staff here are joke ! Went this morning I needed some stuff and tobacco. This staff named Tony as soon as I said excuse me , he mumbled and that already made me uncomfortable. I only called him after waiting few minutes. I said I would have gone to self checkout if I didn’t need tobacco .. no response , he looked very angry, and I shouldn’t give him this explanation. Weird thing normally security guy rings the bell but this morning security guy saw me but just walked off. Most of them are miserable and and normally I don’t care because I work in hospitality too so I know it’s stressful but every time they make me feel like not to shop there. It’s convenient as it’s close to my work and go there often. I know Tesco is a big company and couple of unhappy costumer doesn’t make any difference but would Be nice to shops with happy people working there. Most of them are so miserable wonder why they even bother to come for work. Or work somewhere else if you not happy.
Security was more helpful than the staff! I was at the self check out with a energy drink, needed approval, the guy and the girl behind the tills were just chatting to eachother, the girl looked at me 3 times and still didn't bother to help. Had to ask the security as he walked past, he actually helped.

The staff do not acknowledge your existence, smile at the customers or seem at all pleased be your presence. The radio is grating, badly tuned and too loud to the point it impairs your ability to remember the items you needed to buy. The over predominance of the electronic checkouts add to the impersonal nature of the place. A lack of fresh loose fruit and vegetables.
Bought a bottle of pepsi here to later discover that there is a blood splatter down the side of it. Really not great.
