Need to be aware in the carpark as some people aren't as aware. Small scrapes happen frequently. Store and staff are excellent
The store is tidy & shelves are well stocked. The staff are polite & cheerful. A wide range of foodstuffs is available. They sell children’s socks, but in general they don’t sell clothing. They have a pharmacy.
Some of the most unhelpful and moody staff I’ve encountered. I asked a female staff member if she could please check the stock on her device to see if they had any bags of chicken, as the Tesco app showed them in stock but I couldn’t find them on the shelves. She simply replied that it was “probably because they had a delivery at 2pm” and made no effort to help or check. It felt as though she didn’t want to do her job. I wasn’t trying to play a guessing game with the product name — I had the exact item clearly displayed on my phone for her to check. I don’t understand why she couldn’t look it up on her device or check in the back. Her attitude came across as unfriendly and unwilling to assist. I wish I had taken her name, as I would like to formally complain about the way she spoke to me. Normally, the staff at this store are very helpful, but this particular staff member seems to be a disappointing exception.
I wish to complain regarding the pharmacist who gave me and my husband flu jabs on Friday 7th November. Although very polite etc, he never washed his hands before giving us the jabs nor did he wear rubber gloves. How is it that someone who works in the pharmacy taking money etc does not wash their hands nor wearing rubber gloves before giving injections. I should have complained there and then but you know us British, we don’t like to make a scene!
This is a good Tesco to do your shopping. It is a superstore and therefore houses a lot of grocery products. I like to go here at least once a month to stock up on things I cannot get at my local Tesco. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Great Tesco that do their best to cope with a small store in an ever growing catchment area. Those reviews about range are for customers that could shop in a bigger extra or burgess hill. This store always has lots of tills and selection and I much prefer this to a huge store. Well done to the manager and the team that work here.
The most profitable Tesco in the country, UCKFIELD APPARENTLY!!!!!!! No wonder when they only offer their own brand stuff!!! Thank you Tesco for your disgusting tactic's on your customers. I must say, one of your staff were very well trained at dishing out the company line (oh we have shareholders to think about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) also. NO EGGS- PAY THE FARMERS THE RIGHT MONEY THEN- I DONT MIND LITTLE BROWN SPECKS ON MY EGGS. Stop rejecting tiny imperfections on eggs that a perfectly edible. Gave one star because unlike the owners of Tesco I am nice!
Tesco Uckfield, we have to shop after work which is between 9.30 and 10.30pm. Never can get a self scan gun so have to go through self scan till. When your doing a big shop it's a challenge I do not want. Poor woman has to stand there and scan her ticket for me to move on to next item as tills are never calibrated for the weight. All dated and the pdq machines have seen better days. I would rather pay more and go through a checkout than use these tills for a full shop. We were nearly refused a bottle of scotch as only box on shelf and lady said I'm on my own. Come on Tesco how is this customer service??? Poor show and looking for alternative as getting no better.
