   Bar staff are fantastic, they were professional, fun and a good laugh, Which is a shame because management were poor at best, went to a birthday event, took 20+ minutes to set up, kicked us out half an our before the rented time, and had to do our own door security to stop drunk people stumbling in. Took 3 weeks for host to get money back, and that's only with constant chasing. Poor management, poor organisation, great bar staff who I hope move on to better businesses.

   Hired the vault for my 30th birthday. Took 20 minutes past my booking time to get some bar staff in the room and tables and chairs set up. Was not informed we would need to bring an extra cable to get the speakers working. Asked twice about whether karaoke was available. Said they would check, never did. Kicked us out 20 minutes before the end of my hire time because they "weren't making money" (we hit the bar tab and then some). Also there was nothing to stop random people from walking into the room - this happened a lot. On the plus side I did get my deposit back nearly 3 weeks after the party, which I had to chase. In terms of the venue itself, the room was ok. Just a square room with a small bar in the corner. The speaker system was good when it worked though. Not surround sound but I'm not picky so I don't mind. The best part however was the bar staff. They were absolutely lovely and are the sole reason this review has gone from 1 star to 3, because they gave a 5 star service. So it was nice once things were finally up and running but I don't think I'll ever hire a venue here again.

   Lovely staff, great vibe and comforting security presence made for a perfect night. The owner asked if I need a taxi as I was a little tipsy, but I was fine and they made me feel safe the whole evening. Thanks guys

   Went to the brunch club country bottomless brunch yesterday. Whilst the drinks were flowing nicely, unfortunately the food certainly wasn’t! We watched as the food was bought out to other tables, ours & the table next to us didn’t get any! I spoke to another customer who told me the catering team had gone home & we weren’t getting any food! We spoke to the manager of Bedfords Bar, who was very nice & explained it wasn’t his fault, the brunch club sell the tickets and basically they sold too many tickets & didn’t have enough food. Whilst it wasn’t his fault, I do feel someone could have come & explained the situation to us, rather than wait to be told by another customer we weren’t going to be fed! At £45 a ticket, this is really disappointing and a complaint will of course be put in to the brunch club & a refund asked for.

   Had a quick drink in here with the family. It's not really a family bar though... Nice 90s music which I liked and nice selection of drinks. More of a young person's bar lol. Nice exposed rafters on the ceiling though.

   Went in on a Saturday night and they had sold out of draught beer. Instead a small bottle was £5. Also the barmen always seem to serve their mates before anyone else. There really are alot better places to drink in the city.

   Sat inside with some bucket list chips and my favourite boys. Hannah was brilliant. Offered to show our boys the crypt room, which was on awesome room to see, the history of Norwich is fantastic.

   Great bar with a classy and yet traditional feel. Huge range of spirits and very knowledgeable staff. The owner and his son work there every night, serving and mixing with the punters. Security are also approachable and it’s very clear that they only want one thing and that is a good night for everyone. This is the perfect escape for the over 25s, wanting to avoid late night drinking, without the overcrowded attitude vibe that seems to be too common in the city, especially at weekends. Perfect for a catch up, a date and always good tunes. Had a few Sundays there when they have the quality live bands and DJs and it’s the best place in the city in my opinion.
