   Shop is so cold, is it done on purpose ,get you in and out ...couldn't enjoy Xmas shopping,was so cold hands started going numb, lots customers agreeing ...this not first time lyons farm sainsburys, its always an uncomfortable cold shop .not fun.may choose another supermarket ..that's not below freezing each time..staff agree with me always ...

   Not a good supermarket by all means. Not much selection or variety, workers are rude, and have no manners. By the looks of it, no clothing for men, the whole place is a nightmare.

   Its a supermarket what else is there to say. The occasional bargain with a nectar card but one of the expensive supermarkets. It has a petrol station which is handy. It also has plastic recycling though its hard to find. Has an Argos and a Timpsons on site.

   Nice supermarket with plenty of choice and good quality fresh food. Prices can be a little higher compared to other shops, but the store is clean and well laid out. Staff are usually friendly and helpful, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience.

   This evening the right hand didn't know what the left was doing at the petrol station. Filled up and also after a car wash, there was a car just starting having one and the petrol tanker was there too. Found strange due to health and safety now being over kill in this country...so asked inside, and yes I could use it. Just Turing car around to get into position when this female member of staff came up to me shouting at me saying I wasn't allowed, explained that inside kiosk they said I could. Next minute this young wannabe manager, again very unpleasant, was basically saying I was in the wrong and lying when I had the ticket in hand....no apology was given, both of them extremely rude. I would like to point out though that the 2 members of staff that originally served me were very nice, just need to know when and when not you can use the car wash (when it's not broken of course).

   This is my local supermarket and I'm constantly having to shop at other supermarkets due to the constant empty shelves and the awful quality of the vegatables. It is very rare that I can complete my shop here due to the fact they regularly seem to run out of lots of things. I do not have this issue when I visit other supermarkets and do not understand why this is a problem at this particular one. There are always gaps in the vegatable section too which is very frustrating. I also think that removing the sell by date has been a very bad idea. All this has achieved is that the shop can continue to sell vegatables that have seen much better days without issue, other than their customers paying for vegatables that are going or are bad. Last week I wanted some small potatoes but every pack I picked up the potatoes were all soft Yesterday I picked up my usual bag of potatoes and every pack on the crate were sprouting. It's bad enough that the fruit and veg are kept in dark & cold storage before they reach the shelves but now they are spending even longer on the shelves as well. Very disappointing from a health and a financial point of view.

   What to say? Sainsbury's in general has changed direction gradually replacing own brand with more and more branded (and more expensive) produce. Soon to he too expensive to shop at for me!

   Easy to reach and good parking. Slightly different food selection,with well-laid out store. Only problem is they appear to be moving to all self checkouts,but this does not help those of us who like the personal interaction when we see very few people during our week.
