Worst customer service ever! Don't want to give them one star even, but no star is not an option. The staff were blatantly rude and ridiculing when I wanted to return an item I had purchased there, since it wasn't compatible with my mac, and incredibly overpriced. They were basically saying it was my fault for being stupid enough to let them rip me off in the first place and would take no responsibility, or let me return the unused product. (I had requested an apple product and even brought my mac in for them to make sure I got the right product). There was no manager to talk to, I was given an info@ email to contact (no name), which I did, but no-one has replied to me.
Purchased a laptop from here 2 years ago, for video editing. One of the staff was very helpful and helped me pick the right laptop for my budget, the other was quite blunt and honest about limitations which I can respect. Though if I wasn't a bit of a techie I probably would have got the hump. Had an OS software issue which was resolved no problem the first time. But the second time I was instructed that software is not covered on warranty, industry standard as far as I'm aware so perhaps the first time was just a friendly favour. One member of staff was great to deal with while the other had a very straightforward approach to customer service so I understand the low reviews. However, if you are going there just to buy a laptop without guarantee of OS then you will have a good time. The laptop is still running so I can't complain.
I feel quite confident that any negative review for this shop might be down to a mix-up between this one and the laptop shop further up Queens Road. That place I certainly don't recommend, and this one I sincerely do. I had water damage on my iPhone, another place estimated 5 working days minimum to repair, and suggested a spot of insurance fraud to address the problem! These guys returned my phone to me within 24 hours good as new. I felt they were honest, and I found the whole experience friendly and positive. (These are the guys just up from the Hope pub on the other side of the road). Use them!!
Took my phone here to get it repaired after King of GSM did a complete and utter hack job at "repairing it" (whilst also stripping out the parts that did actually work!). Laptop supermarket were very friendly, did everything by the book, very professional. Cost of their services were very reasonable and their turn around time was phenomenally fast. A full report was written for the repaired phone after and a 3 month warranty on the replaced parts. Very impressed with Laptop Supermarket. Would recommend to anyone needing a phone repair!
