   Love the Wine Barrel. Really friendly local wine shop. The staff are really helpful and will guide you, depending on your preference and price point. What's more, they've got a great (south-facing) set-up during summer, serving wine alfresco, allowing you to make the most of the sunshine. It's not as cheap as your local supermarket, but the wine is not your usual bland, supermarket mass-produced brands, either. Plus, you're supporting a local store, run by local residents.

She also uses their efficient online service for purchases, including gifts with their excellent delivery service. The staff is genuinely welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional, always ready to assist you in finding the right purchase. They offer a wide range of wines, including natural, organic, and biodynamic options from around the world.    Excellent and wide stock of wines, beers and spirits from all over the world. What I like the most though is their great selection of local craft beers from Sussex and Brighton itself. Gluten free options are available too. The staff is amazing! Super helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They've always given great recommendations on new stuff to try out. I came here to buy a present for my father and fell in love with the place since. Definitely recommended!

   Always has an excellent stock of beers, wines and spirits. I'd particularly highlight an excellent range of stouts, low- and non-alcoholic beers, and the full range of bottled Harvey's beers. It's a great place to pick out a few special tins or bottles for the evening, and even offers larger containers of draft beers. On the wine side, I appreciate they clearly sign organic and vegan wines, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about both current and former stock!
