   Hoping to enjoy a lovely Christmas day dinner but unfortunately this wasn't the case regarding the roast turkey dinner option. We had visited the Harvester for Xmas Day a few years ago and it was very nice. The food this year unfortunately was appalling for the value of cost. The Turkey was lovely, all the vegetables were rock hard and the Yorkshire pudding The roast potatoes were packet ones. A Pig in blanket 1 recieved was like rubber.The sprouts you could of played a game of tennis with my elderly father stated.The desserts were fine , the atmosphere with the music was good and our waitress Pippa was Brilliant and attended to all our needs.

   I visited this restaurant with some dear friends from Church. The restaurant was clean, warm and brightly lit for the winter festive season. The staff on the bar served us our drinks and also brought our food. They did so quickly and the food itself was tasty and hot. I had an enjoyable time talking and eating in the Harvester. My gratitude to the waitresses and cooks who served us with hospitality, diligence and grace.

   After sitting down at 12, we gave in our orders around 15 mins later and waited an hour and 20 minutes. I ordered the Classic burger which was mediocre, around the table the chips were inconsistent and my dad ordered the "Bhaji Burger" which came out stone cold and the "patty" was liquid and mushy which was disappointing. For the quality and quantity given it was not consistent with the prices. I dont know if this is a "one-off" for today but regardless every service should be the same. I may not know the kitchen situation but either way if food standard is sub-par and service is slow then maybe they should look at the menu, chefs and Foh and see what needs to be changed.. all in all the salad bar was good and the server we had was good. Thanks.

   Very nice place with car park. Food was nicely cooked, drinks prices were very affordable. Place was clean and tidy, indoors and outdoors space for people to sit.

   The staff here are really lovely however there is something not right with the workflow or the kitchen simply isn't big enough. It took an hour and five minutes for our food to arrive and we were by no means exceptional. If they can resolve this issue then this will be a great place for a family meal.

   Cheryl was angelically kind when we came to the restaurant. She has a lot of courage to serve her clients the way she does. I had the impression of being served at home by my mom! So I want to thank Cheryl once again for this great time. If I come back to this restaurant, it will be as much to see Cheryl again as to eat something.

   Great place for recreation, having fun with the kids on the lawn or playground, enjoying picnics or just watching the world passing by. A big bonus is the Harvester Restaurant right on the grounds, which is lovely for a nice cool drink or even a meal.

   I liked the waitress, Abi, she was extremely nice and fun. They've taken too many people for what they can handle. Didn't like the extremely long wait. We booked a table and had to wait 35 mins, 4 sets of people who walked in got tables before us. You had to wait for people to serve you in the salad bar and some people had to wait for at least 15 minutes. They ran out of plates and bowls at the salad bar, the rolls were frozen cold. Dinner was fairly fast, came out in just over half an hour (about the same time as the table wait), gave up with desert. Dinner was okay, the other people I was with didn't like theirs.
