I've been a member for 3 months, but have left due to 6% membership fee increase. The gym itself is always busy, so you end up waiting for equipment. The classes are good, but you have to book promptly because they fill up quickly. I think they are oversubscribed here and can properly meet the demand on their facilities. The ladies changing and showers are poorly maintained, with toilet seats not properly fixed, shower heads scaled up and not very warm water. Again the spa area is always busy and you can't guarantee being able to use is. The changing area can get very busy, especially when children's swimming classes are on. On a positive note, the staff are lovely and food in the cafe is nice. Overall, I just didn't think that the membership fee offers good value - especially when it's so hard to get to use the facilities. If you are thinking of joining, try a 3 month membership and see if it's the right gym for you, as it's a lot of money if you can't get to use what you want.

I had a great experience with Ethan from the membership team at David Lloyd Worthing. I joined using my work’s Gymflex discount, and shortly afterwards Ethan helped me get my son signed up so he could join me at the club. He made the whole process quick and stress-free, was extremely helpful, and offered flexible solutions to make everything work smoothly. Really approachable and knowledgeable — excellent customer service. Thanks again, Ethan!

Such an amazing gym can’t wait to start in January. It’s got everything I’m looking for and was very clean and modern. I had a Tour of the Worthing gym with a lovely man named Ethan . He was able to answer all my questions and was so happy, kind and enthusiastic . Which was just great as I am nervous about starting the gym .

I recently became a member of David Lloyd, and I’m so glad to be getting back into my fitness journey. I was a little nervous as I'd fallen out of my routine and this club is a new one for me, but Rosa made me feel so comfortable and like I’d never been away. I can’t wait to go to my first class and get my first PT session booked in. The facilities are amazing here, and I encourage anyone who is considering joining a gym to pick this one! :)

When I joined David Lloyd, Rosa from the membership team was a great help in getting me all set up and made the whole process really easy. I decided to use my free PT sessions with Sarah Green, as I was particularly interested in her running background. We had three sessions together, where she introduced me to the weights equipment and focused on building leg strength. I really enjoyed the sessions and learned so much in a short space of time. Sarah was supportive, knowledgeable, and made everything easy to follow. I’d highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for guidance and motivation. So far, I’m really enjoying the club and all the facilities. It’s a great environment to train

Good overall but deducted a few for cleanliness - changing rooms/,showers always dirty and gym floor equipment, wiping down after yourself isn't enforced and rarely does anyone do it. Adults area in changing room way too small, makes no sense when there's an additional family changing room. Classes should be on later into the evening and Pilates isn't just for mid morning non working people!

Excellent facilities and classes. Lots of activities to choose from all day long. Haven’t had the best experience interacting with the club. Slow to respond to emails/queries, seems a bit disjointed. At least they’ve got the fitness part right!

The facilities are extensive with good quality equipment - The staff are very friendly and helpful and the cafe food is good value. Would recommend - unfortunately my wife and I would not be able to make sufficient use to warrant membership.

A friend took me here on her membership as a plus one, my first time at any gym and I have to say what a fine establishment, the staff I did interact with were very nice and polite. I went mainly in the pool inside and out, the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna all fantastic all clean not too busy (went on a Sunday afternoon). The changing rooms were very clean with decent shower facilities and have a very nice looking décor. While I didn't use any gym equipment I did pop in and it looks as if they had everything you would need, a very nice looking area to work out in. We had food afterwards and again I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the food, the speed and service.

The refurb has made all the difference and they have at long last got the lighting right. Not too dark you can’t see what you’re doing but sufficiently low lit that you’re afforded some privacy and it delivers an atmosphere. The layout is 100% better and the text/workouts area is in a far more sensible location. The kit is top notch and as always the staff are the happy helpful crew they were before the changes. The only issue is that even at an off time it is quite busy. At peak times there’s just not enough kit/space for members.
