For such an expensive gym I’d expect it to at least be clean. There was mud on the floor, broken and squeaky machines, equipment dumped everywhere, and tattered benches.I payed for a day pass but didn’t even stay to finish my workout because everything I needed couldn’t be used. There was far too much cardio machines and not enough weights. (Twice as many cardio spots than weight spots) People were having to double up on racks and wait for each other to finish and yet the cardio equipment had a couple of people on while the rest was empty. Not a good workout. Kinda want my £11.50 back.

As a pensioner, I thought I'd book a fun swimming session for myself, my partner and three grandchildren. The on-line booking system has to be the worst I've ever encountered. It's taken almost two hours to wade through multiple questions, in order to create an account, including what is my ethnicity, and country of residence. I don't want to create an account, I just wanted to book and pay! I gave up after 45 mins and thought I'd phone, which would be far easier, but nobody answers the phone. So I had to try all the options available until I eventually succeeded. That's two hours of my life that I'll never get back, why make it so difficult? When I got to the reception to book in, I questioned why they never answered the phone and complained about how difficult it was to book the session. Instead of being sympathetic, the receptionist went all defensive and said they wouldn’t answer the phone if there was a customer present. She went on to say that it must have been my fault and also everyone else uses a phone app to book in. Unbelievable!

I went to splashpoint for the first time today to do Aqua and swimming. I was so impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff at 11-30. The area that I saw was really clean. Good lockers and good sized individual changing room. Aqua was really good with nice friendly people taking part. I will become a member. Also a nice friendly cafe for coffee afterwards.

My family and I love the pools, I only wish the lifeguards were more attentive and actually enforced the rules consistently. On multiple times one of my young has narrowly been missed by older children bombing! I feel like it's only a matter of time before someone lands one one of them! I have also seen teenagers lining up floating pads and trying to run across them which is unbelievably dangerous, not only to other swimmers but to themselves. Also people stacking 3 or more floaters, sometimes they'll get whistled other times not. When the guards do blow their whistle and get ignored they just look the other way. Which they have done twice before when my daughter swallowed a load of water and was throwing up on the side of the pool, even when my wife was waving at them to get their attention, they loked every which way but towards us. It's a shame because it's the cleanest, and best maintained pool in the Brighton/Worthing area

We've been three times over the last year and each time it has been more filthy than the last. Hairs and fluff absolutely everywhere in the changing rooms, I felt pretty icky after today's visit. I know most public pools get a fair bit of that but it seemed particularly bad today. We also came away with more than usual red and stinging eyes, and our son had two coughing fits in the water which felt particularly strongly chlorinated. Also the pirate ship and the water features near it weren't working which was a shame. But these are all fixable points and we did have a nice time so I hope today was a one off and when we come back next time, it will be improved again!

We're on holiday in the area so first time here, really beautiful clean pool with plenty of fun on offer for the kids with the floats and slide. Life guards friendly,we know from personal experience what a difficult job this is so we always are very thankful. Reception were really kind and helpful to. We had a bite to eat at the café next to reception after our swim, staff friendly but the food was quite limited for the prices, sorry, maybe it's just us but jacket potatoes and rolls without any kind of salad or crisp garnish just all looked a bit odd and bare plonked on the plates, the kids packed lunch box was just a jam sandwich that came out a bit late (sorry maybe they were busy as we all got our food at different times), crisps and juice, very basic, no fruit or carrot or cucumber sticks included which would have been alot better. Lovely coffee and hot chocolate though.

Very nice place for kids and adults. Good for relaxation and sport. I gave 4 stars from 5 as GYM room is pretty small for the amount of people attending to and not enough power lifting machines. Another negative point is that the main pool is often used for classes or training which makes it unavailable for the rest of customers. Overall, it's a good place for any age to come to relax and doing sport.

Splashpoint swimming has gotten cleaner since our last visit. There are 4 pool areas kids leisure pool, a small outside pool, a main indoor pool and a separate diving area with 3 diving boards. Mixed changing areas and lockers cost 10p which is non refundable. Poolside viewing is free and there is also a small cafe area. There is a fitness suite upstairs. If you use the pay and display parking adjacent to the pool then take your parking ticket stub to reception as they will refund the cost of parking. I got a £2 refund which was nice but they can’t back date it!
