Alexandra was the sweetest girl, professional and kind. I loathe having a personal wax, but somehow Alexandra made the experience so much less of a deal than it is in my head. She did a superb job of waxing and I will be booking again soon.
Sadly, this is the second time I have a burn on my lip and chin. This time it’s worse. It’s hurting a lot and I believe they should have better tools for checking the temperature of the wax. I am still awaiting a refund.
Honestly, I’m sad. Was going to Glambox for nearly a year. The girls were always so friendly and that’s why I kept going back. I was away on business around Christmas time and got them infilled by someone in London who said they were the worst they had ever seen, claiming they were clumpy, rushed and damaging my natural lashes, so I changed lash tech at glambox and went to someone else for 2-3 months. A few weeks ago again I was away on business and went elsewhere for a infill, the lash tech I went to found my lashes in this state. (See photo) she was shocked I wasn’t in pain with them and again, said they were the worst she had ever seen, my eyelids were red and swollen and my natural lashes severely damaged. For reference this photo was taken 7 days after my last appointment at glambox. All the best to the girls there as they are lovely but i definitely won’t be going back and won’t be recommending them to anyone :(
Absolutely amazing salon with friendly staff. A very busy atmosphere thats why I marked 4 stars as this might not suit all on a beauty trip out however I enjoy the busyness the chit chat of life. I leave feeling happy and content after every visit. The quality of all the girls work is recommended. They also decorate seasonally which is a lovely vibe.
Will never return! First time having lash extensions. I even came in with a picture of the hybrid system of lash extension I wanted. I wasn't shown the length of the lashes or style I was just expected to know. Although a lady who arrived whilst I was mid treatment was shown everything I wasn't. After laying there for over two hours listening to the staffs personal lives I was done. No mirror at the bed so by this point I had no idea what I looked like. I had to walk over to the counter and look in the mirror whilst paying. I was horrified. The exact look I didn't want. A big black curtain placed on my eyes. I wanted natural and whispy but there wasn't anything whispy about them just a block of lashes. I was told I would get used to them by tomorrow but they weren't what I wanted. Even the lady doing them said her hybrid are more like volume but I thought if they look like the picture I'll be happy. Anyway surrounded by a room from of women looking at me in horror I felt too intimadated to say something and put my sun glasses on and rushed back to my car. I could keep them on and started pulling them out at home. The lashes were so heavily clumped together. I thought when applied there should be a max of 4-5 hairs fanned out and glued on to a single lash? This wasn't the case 1.none we're fanned just clumped up hence why they looked like a curtain. 2. There were tons of hairs 10+ clumped which would never achieve the light whispy look I asked for. In the end I had to purchase the glue remover and by the weekend had removed the £65 lashes I paid for two days before. Absolute waste of money. Not completed to how I requested or how lashes show be applied. Poor service in terms of explaining the treatment and giving me options. Will never go back!
Always have a great experience at glambox! i’ve had a few different treatments done here and all the girls are so lovely! jess always does my lashes perfectly! wouldn’t go anywhere else now :)
First time using Glam box for Lash lift and tint. Super happy with the results and couldn't believe the end result were really my own lashes. All staff were very welcoming when I arrived, and my technician really made me feel at ease and answered all of my questions. I'll be returning in a few weeks to have them done again.
Had a spray tan here before my wedding (two days before). The girl was lovely but my hands and feet were awful. I followed all pre and aftercare advice but was left with stains on my hands, which isn't great when you're the bride and everyone constantly wants to see your ring! The photographer will have to Photoshop me as my hands look like they belong to a different person and I've been using so much tan remover to try to fix it to no avail.
