   Was a pretty underwhelming experience and I wished I picked another birthday activity. Honestly not sure how this place has got so many good reviews. From the get go I could already tell from entering the building and the vibe of the waiting room that it was pretty low budget effort escape room. We chose to do Mumbles Bunker. Firstly, we could hear the operators/employees constantly chatting throughout our escape which ruined the immersion for us. Secondly and probably the more significant issue is, without going into too much detail and spoiling it, one of the objects that was critical to the escape was almost broken and slowed us down by A LOT. Not only that but it caused frustration and turned this experience into a waiting game. We didn’t get out and the person working there didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted to quickly see how we could have escaped which would have been a nice touch. They just seemed like they wanted us out. I have been to many escape rooms across the UK and with all of them, the employees/operators have tried to put in some effort to act as part of the experience or at least showed some enthusiasm - this one was so dull. Complete waste of money. Would not recommend unless you want to be bored, underwhelmed and frustrated that the equipment you need to escape with is faulty.

   Loved it! Haven't done an escape room for a few years and had forgotten how brilliant they are. We tackled the new Laughing Lair room and it was excellent. It was challenging and we needed a few hints from Sam, who was great, gave us clues without making it too easy and he was as pleased as we were that we broke the record for the fastest time! If you haven't done an escape room then this is a great place to give it a go, they have three rooms to choose from. If you have done them before then the rooms here are too notch. The staff were friendly and helpful too, so thanks Sam, may no one ever beat our record

   We had a really fun time with the prison breakout room. Enjoyed how physical the room was and we were able to have a laugh. It was quite stressful towards the end. But we managed to get out with 27 seconds left. Our host Lola was very attentive and helped us along our way when we were a bit stuck.

   Headline: One of the best escape rooms we've done. It was well-constructed, immersive, challenging, well-supported and fun. Highly recommended. Our guide was Rosie, who was professional and enthusiastic. We went for the jail break themed room, and it was very well decorated and engrossing. The puzzles are varied and challenging, and definitely recommended to avid escape room fans.

   Would recommend to anyone, never tried escape rooms before but now i’m sold. Felt consumed by the concept of the room and the amount of hidden details inside it. Keiran made the experience all the more enjoyable, and very helpful. Already made our 2nd booking

   Myself and my wife went today. Our host Rachel was very welcoming and friendly. She explained everything clearly to us and was more than happy to help when we struggled. We tried the mumbles bunker and unfortunately didn't make it out in time. A very good challenging escape room which we would recommend. Will be back soon to attempt the other room!

   It was my sons 16th birthday and he wanted to do an escape room, so I found breakout live via Google and booked the prison break experience for myself, son and wife. We arrived a little early having never done this sort of thing before and were greeted by Rosie who was so friendly and welcoming. We stored our items in the free locker and Rosie took us to the room, inside the room Rosie explained everything in a professional and fun manner which put us at ease. Wow what a challenge, the puzzles were exceptionally thought out, and the quality of the props were excellent, between the three of us we almost managed to escape but failed to break out......but now we are hooked, I honestly haven't had this much fun in a long time and will definitely be returning to try the other room. If you're looking for a way to spend a fun hour out then you have to try breakout live in Swansea.

   Me and my boyfriend booked Mumbles Bunker and it was so good! We really enjoyed this escape room there was so much to do it really kept us on our toes! We got out with 18 minutes to spare with a couple of clues which we were so chuffed with! I would recommend this escape room to anyone who is slightly interested. Lucas was fab and very helpful with his clues! He made us feel really welcome and made the whole experience that much better! Thank you we’ll be back soon!

   Lucas was a great host and made us feel very welcome. The puzzles were challenging but doable, even with just a small group. It is very easy to overlook obvious clues if you become fixated on the wrong thing so it forces you to take a step back and re-evaluate the clues. Would highly recommend.
