This was a superb hotel to stay for two nights, providing comfortable twin beds to get plenty of rest! The hotel's location by the A23 makes it easy to get to from Brighton city centre via train or bus routes; buses come this way at night too for coming back from any clubbing. Sufficient storage space is available and mini desk allows items like creams or deodorant to stay by the beds, phone charging slots are also reliable! Bathroom facilities were kept clean with an efficient shower too and staff were welcoming on arrival as well as when we checked out, location is not loud near the A23 due to the car park between there and this hotel.

Rooms are okay but missing attention to detail in areas, particularly the cleaning. Carpets stained, cobwebs on top of the curtains. The bathroom was the biggest let down. It smelt mouldy, extractor fan very dusty, mould/limescale staining around the shower tray. Whole shower area needs a good clean with bleach & Viakal! Building just aged but not much you can do about that. Bed was clean. Overall not the best but not the worst.

The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. In the early morning, the staff helped me to register my car to use the frontt carpark here. In the evening, the girl in reception helped me to find out my lost phone and sorted out my second device ti get on line.

A faorly quiet location, even though it's by the main road into Brighton. Room was clean & warm, but the bathroom really needed refreshing (mould in the shower, & around the grouting etc.). It took a long time to check in, as the receptionist couldn't log on to get our details - he had to keep changing his password. The only other negative was the 'view' from the window, which overlooked the back area where the refuse bins/skips were. It looks like a lot of things just get dumped to left there - including industrial plastic piping. We decided to keep the curtains shut. Internal cafe was fine, with the usual 'all you can eat breakfast'. Over all, we would stay there again, even though you do have to pay for overnight parking (£10 for 24 hours).

We decided to stay the night after attending a birthday party. The staff were both friendly and very helpful in the reception. Room was well equipped and all in working order, we had a very relaxed stay, all at a very cheap price.

Hotel was nice and in a good location but the car parking is a nightmare. Website states 70 spaces and there's nowhere near that in practical reality due to the amount of double parked needed. Plus £7 to park in a hotel I'm already paying for is a joke, why is this car park not free for guests and paid for everyone else who parks here during the day then walks into town to work.

Lovely hotel. Only gripe is wifi isn't free but what can you do, it has a vending machine, bar and breakfast area. From mu experience we stayed in quite a big room so this is why u am raising this high. Family is upstairs but there are lifts and stairs

I have stayed at this hotel before and each time I'm blown away be the amazing customer service. I was away with my family and the family room was a lovely spacious size with room for the kids to run around and was a very decent price. Unfortunately on our trip I became ill with food poisoning I got from a restaurant on the pier on the morning we were leaving. The lovely hotel staff let me stay In our room past check out time, so I could get some rest and get better, while my family went out for the day. The hotel also provide a bottle warmer for my son's bottles and a very decent travel cot. The hotel is also only a 5 minute journey by bus into the city centre, with the bus stop being over the road and opposite to the hotel.

My curtains wouldn't close but I didn't realise until it was bedtime! A coach load of foreign visitors returned to the property throughout the night shouting, laughing and slamming doors. At 3.30am a group gathered outside the front door under my window, smoking, being very loud, kicking bottles. No member of staff moved them on. Needless to say I slept badly. The bar, cafe is far too small for the size hotel. The food was OK when I was able to find a place to sit. There was plenty of room in the car park, £7 for 24hrs. It's on a bus route into town. I complained about the noise after my stay , suggested Travelodge put a smoking area in, put signs outside asking people consider people who may be sleeping. I suggested staff re-enforce this if guests don't comply. The room was £108, room only, not cheap. I complained and got a partial refund.
