Amazing room and perfect location! Hosts are really friendly and accommodating. Large room really clean and cute amenities such as tea coffee and biscuits. Also have a fridge in the room so its handy for drinks etc.
Beautiful house and rooms, it was very peaceful and relaxing. Hove is a wonderful area with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. Brighton centre is a very easy 30 min walk. Beach is 15 mins away for a dip!
Liz and Dexter were great hosts! The location is really good with a lovely walk into Brighton at only 30min by the sea. The house was beautiful and very tidy.
This was an incredible stay. The room was extremely comfortable with unique and individual art work to appreciate, the facilities were perfect. The location is ideal with many interesting eateries easily located, the beach close by and an easy walk to Brighton central.
This has to be my favourite rental accommodation for a short stay so far. I don't usually compare as all lets are unique, but this was above and beyond my expectations. The 2 separate rooms available, are on the spacious top floor, so great if going with friends. On the same floor there is a kitchenette with microwave well equipped for preparing light meals. The rooms are spacious with king sized beds and full sized ensuite bathrooms. The decor is exceptional and attention to detail is obvious. The whole experience is one of comfort and luxury. I can't recommend this highly enough.
The Art House was perfect. Beautiful room and it had everything one could ask for. Liz and Dexter were excellent hosts.
Really loved staying here for a few nights. The room was very lovely, clean and beautifully decorated with art. The rain shower is divine and bathroom has a beautiful mosaic floor. There are lots of very well thought extras like cookies and fresh milk, and coffee & tea. We loved having a mini fridge, to put any leftovers for the next day. The beach in Hove is within walking distance and there are tons of wonderful places to go for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach huts! The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and not at all obtrucious. It was just what we needed. Will definitely stay here again, when we come back to Hove!
It's not often we think somewhere is better than home, but this is one of those instances for sure! The Art House is a beautifully restored grand house in Hove with large windows and tall ceilings so it has a marvellous feeling of space and light. We stayed in the Garden Room which is very spacious with a beautiful leafy view and a roomy en-suite with everything you could wish for provided. We had great chats too with Dexter and Liz who showed us through her fascinating studio. We often go to Brighton and The Art House will definitely be our go-to place there - can't wait to go back really. Had a very comfortable stay.
We would like The Art House to remain one of Hove's best kept secrets! If too many folk knew it was supremely comfortable, extremely quiet (Garden Room), provided excellent breakfasts and offered fast bus routes to central Brighton...all run by two charming hosts (Dexter and Liz) - we might find it harder to book a room next time!! Perfect fit for our needs and standards were such that the stay there was a treat beyond our plans to explore the Hove area. Dexter's kind and friendly hospitality sealed the deal. Would heartily recommend a visit for those that appreciate the finer things in life.
