⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently stayed at the Brunswick Square Hotel during a weekend getaway to Brighton, and I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations! First off, the location couldn't have been more perfect. Right in the heart of Brighton, just a short walk from the beach and all the city's attractions. I loved being able to wander down to the seafront or explore the quirky shops in The Lanes without having to travel far from the hotel. The hotel itself has such a charming vibe. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and there's a cozy atmosphere throughout. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfy—I slept like a dream! But what really stood out to me was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for places to eat and things to see. It felt like they genuinely cared about making sure I had a fantastic experience during my stay. Overall, I can't recommend the Brunswick Square Hotel enough. Whether you're visiting Brighton for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this hotel is the perfect home base. Great location, comfortable rooms, and exceptional service—it's got it all. I'll definitely be back!

Our room had a fantastic view of the ocean and beach, the room was fantastic and the bed was heavenly. Everything in the room was great and very clean to the finest detail, room service was very quick and to high standards. The hotel was just beautifully decorated and fantastically furnished. The best 5 day stay we've ever had.

Paid £51.30 for a night on the ground floor (002) bed was comfortable, shower had no issues, interior design was pretty nice and can't really go wrong for that price. That being said, the TV didn't connect to any services mentioned and the inner sheet of my bed had a massive brown stain, will be optimistic and expect this to be the complimentary tea or coffee that somebody accidentally spilt. Staff were pretty kind and my stay was relatively cozy - nicely located by the seafront and a high street.

Really appalled and disappointed as to how this hotel (which was quite nice a few years ago) has deteriorated! The hotel reception stank and was filthy. They now charge a £100 deposit for the privilege of staying there (which you don’t get back for at least a week after you’ve stayed?!) and harangue you with endless emails and text messages. After having booked a room and turning up to see how dirty the reception was, I couldn’t even bring myself to stay for the night, but still had to pay the deposit! Disgusting and certainly not a 4 star experience. What a shame - it used to be good!

Arrived at the hotel to check in, I was asked for ID but didn't have any on me, so was refused check in and after 2 hours of travelling was told we would have to find another hotel to stay in. Atmosphere was dead on arrival didn't feel welcome at all. I have tried to get a full refund but was only refunded £5 of the £56 I paid. This was an Christmas present for my boyfriend. I have never stayed at a hotel that has requested ID. DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is a scam you won't get a refund if you are turned away. I wish I had checked the reviews before I chose to stay here! We did manage to find a good ol' trusty Premier Inn who welcomed us and there was no need for any ID.

2min from the beach. A little far from the city center, but the walk is nice and beautiful. The room is great, there are some stairs, but nothing too complicated. A suggestion for parking: there is a parking lot nearby, Norton Road Car Park or in the nearby streets between the hotel and this car park, the prices are even good compared to others. Up to 9 am costs 8.10 and up to 12 a little more, something like that. You can check it on Google Street view. I don't know if it's 24h, but I preferred to take the car at 20h and leave it closer to the hotel. At 9 am, I paid two more hours on the street and left

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in. Room was dirty, bathroom door didn't close properly, bathroom floor was bare, no flooring on it. The cups in the room were not properly cleaned and the floor needed a vacuum despite us being told the room had been cleaned. The sofa bed was ridiculously lumpy and uncomfortable, my daughter could not sleep on it. Asked for a refund as soon as we saw the room but they said they couldn't. Fire alarm went off at 4am and no one was answering reception phone when we tried to call to see if it was genuine. I stayed here in June, but feel compelled to now leave a review as I have had absolutely no response from the hotel for the complaint that I made. Do not be deceived by photos, this is not a nice place to stay.

This hotel is an utter dump. Difficult to know where to start. The reception area is dirty and unkept. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. The room was old and tired. The furniture was rotten and the TV didn’t work. This place is without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Avoid at all costs. You would be better off in a bus shelter.

I paid £265 for a 1 night stay. While the cleanliness was good and there was no issues with the customer service. The quality and maintenance of the room was awful. It looked like it’s been maintained at the standard of cheap rented accommodation. fixtures and furnishings were in states of disrepair. I could feel the springs in the mattress. I left this hotel genuinely feelings like I’d been scammed. There is no way anyone should charge £265 for that room. I’ve stayed in £60 rooms of higher quality with better service. Spend your money elsewhere and don’t go here.
