Just checked into room 1 and is perfect!. Room spotlessly clean, king size bed super comfy, large size room, Coffee machine, large t.v, fridge, large wardrobe and worktop desk for storage, commentary chocolates and even a little private outside patio/terrace. Large bathroom and great shower with toiletries. Location is very quiet and about 1 minute from seafront. Definitely a 4* hotel as advertised!. Will look forward staying again! Many thanks

Clean, pleasant room with everything I needed for the 3 night stay. I recommend that a phone number for the manager is posted on the door, so that guests arriving without the code number for the door don't feel "stuck outside in the rain". The site should clarify that there are multiple flights of steep stairs to get to the view rooms, and no help available for suitcases.

Lovely room, nice and clean, and we had white stuff toiletries which was a lovely surprise. Location a little out of the centre but great bus connections. Very responsive on email and telephone. Really happy. Definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again.

Nice place just off the seafront. Views of the sea. Access was quick and easy with electronic code. Room was a reasonable size, with on suite shower. TV plus tea and coffee in room. Would recommend a nice chair to sit and relax by the window. A fan would also be a welcome addition these days as windows need closing to reduce the noise from traffic while sleeping. Very helpful reception. Overall great stay!

Registration was easy and seamless - we actually never talked to a person, and didn't really need to. The door code system is brilliant for a location where folks may be spending time at the beach and want to leave belongings safely in the room. Room was small but had everything we needed. Shower water pressure was sometimes a struggle, even with the instructions provided.

After about 36 hrs of total travel time from the US, we finally made it to The White House for the first night of a 3 week trip around the UK and Ireland. We could not have asked for a better start. Communication with Sean via text and email was quick and easy. He was extraordinarily responsive, accommodating and helpful. The location is a very short walk from the boardwalk, which is where we parked (no onsite parking, but we found street parking to be easy and fairly inexpensive). After setting down our stuff and taking in our adorable room (up a very narrow and steep staircase, so take care if you have lots or big luggage), we walked maybe a half mile to an Indian restaurant called Bay Leaf. Delicious! We then slept like the dead in a quiet room, with a comfortable bed and just the right hint of sea air. Next, breakfast. My first full English in more than 25 years and it was something. The food was delicious. The coffee strong and rich. The breakfast room comfie, fellow travelers charming, service impeccable. I don’t normally like mushrooms, but would have happily eaten a plate of these. In fact, I’m now officially a mushroom fan and order them in restaurants by choice! All in all, we had a lovely stay and only wish we’d had more than one night. When we next visit this part of England, and we will, this is where we will stay. Highly recommend.

My partner and I had a lovely stay. It is close to the sea, and great pubs and that around. Very clean, neat and cosy! Great, friendly service with a breakfast to die for. Wonderfully thoughtful with little bits here and there in the rooms. Thank you!

Amazing bed and breakfast! When we come back to Brighton I will always stay here. Rooms are lovely and very clean. Little touches like a Kitkat chunky with your tea and coffee in the room are really lovely. The owners couldn’t do enough for us and are lovely people. It’s in an excellent location with it being a short walk to the centre and lanes and about 20 yards To the beach! Breakfast is really good and sourced locally! We’re gutted we slept in one morning and missed it, that’s how good it is.

What a lovely place to stay, so cosy, and clean with lovely decor. we had a tv, kettle and all coffees and teas that you would want and cups and glasses, plus lovely shower gel, hand wash and lotion. 100% white cotton towels and hand towels, and cosy bed with good bedding, we had a on suite bathroom aswell. Staff were very accommodating when I needed anything very happy to help and dropped milk and ice to my room in minutes. Plus free WiFi. You can sea the sea from the side rooms out the window and they have a lovely little outside table and chairs to chillout. Minute's from the beach and 5 minute walk to pier. Lovely breakfast and dining room to eat it in. Will definitely be back, when next in Brighton. Great value its a must.me and my son loved our stay thank you Sean and all the staff. See you soon

I never write reviews but couldn’t not in the case! Can’t recommend this place enough; amazing location, walking distance to everything fun and a stones throw to the beach - we had a sea view from our room. The room was big and super clean. The bed was huge, v comfy, lots of soft towels and great toiletries.. so many extras which made the stay extra special! We stayed for breakfast - lots of options - and so glad we did because it was delicious too. We will be back!
