Nice hotel in great location! Unfortunately we stayed in a basement room, and reception is directly above it with zero carpet on the floor so we were woken up by footsteps and what sounded like furniture being moved about literally every 5 minutes throught the night!!

On the sea front so a quick stroll along the beach. We were in the basement and the window which was the fire exit was very draftie so you had to keep the curtains closed. Breakfast was included and there wa a nice spread put on by the staff. Staff were friendly

Fantastic location and price. We were going to a concert at the Brighton centre and it worked really well for us. The hotel is old and worn so don’t expect the ritz. However, it was clean and we slept well. Only concern was security. You have to give them your key whoever you go out. That’s fine as long as they don’t then give your key to anyone that happens to know your room number. Keys on both nights were just given to us with no questions asked - so be careful leaving valuables in your room. We did complain but nothing changed….

It's alright for the price, but alright is as far as I'd go. The staff we're very nice which was good, always there to help out. And the complimentary breakfast was also nice, just a nice, plain and simple selection of hot and cold food. Great spot for accessing restaurants and shops, and the beach too. Onto the negatives. The rooms are very dated, personally i don't mind dated too much, but it's like stepping in a time portal and being put into the 60's without it being cleaned at all. The room light was so dusty it looked like it had fur, the furniture was rickety, carpet was severely faded from years of use, rust in the bathroom. But the worst part is BED BUGS! I woke up to one crawling on my arm, very unpleasant surprise. Got some very uncomfortable bites from them. I'd recommend avoiding this hotel simply for that, coz bedbugs follow you home.

Great location at a low price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, let us keep our luggage at the hotel after check out so we didn't have to carry it around with us. Room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good and there were enough options to choose from, breakfast area is decorated lovely too!

I can't explain how bad this experience was. The tap on the sink spun instead of turning on, the shower was more of a dribble, and I had to crouch to use it. The bed was fine. The cockroach liked it, too. There was a small group of us, one paying extra for a single room, was thrown in on a cot in a double room. The water didn't work for 2 of the day out of the 3. The stairwell to the top floor was tiny. I'm not a BIIIG guy, I carry a little extra weight than the average guy, and I had to squeeze through the smallest of gaps. The lift looks and sounds like it's about to give up. The location was great, though.

Cheap and cheerful hotel in a fantastic location. Room was small but clean with a fantastic view. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Staff were friendly. The location is right by the seafront and within walking distance to all of Brighton. A little tatty in places but nothing major. Overall great value for money and I will return.

Very friendly welcome. Good clean spacious room and great shower although a bit slippy. Very friendly and efficient staff for breakfast and an excellent choice. Young boy and girl were very nice and pleasant but was a bit too far away for us as we are the older generation. Stay was good but weather was awful not hotels fault for that.

it was nice, bed was comfy and bouncy and bathroom was clean and moder. the tv wasn’t too good and glitched a lot but there was a lot of storage. The room was hard to lock and not very safe so we had to put a chair to the door. Breakfast was ok and staff was very helpful with the food though they could have more cereal options and hot drinks
