Perfect for our weekend in Brighton. Joy3 had everything we needed, self check in/check out, clean rooms, internet, TV, etc…. Our only issue was we were woken up one night by some drunks walking home in the early hours, but this wasn’t a fault of the flat. But this was great value for money compared to everything else we looked into around Brighton.

had a really disappointing stay at Innit Joy in Brighton. The toilets had a strong, unpleasant smell that spread into the room, which made it hard to relax or sleep. The shower barely worked – there was hardly any water pressure, and we couldn’t properly shower for three days. I tried calling the property to report the issues, but the phone line wasn’t working due to a “technical issue,” so there was no way to get help during the stay. After all this, they only refunded me $39 – and I paid £203! Honestly, that felt like an insult given how uncomfortable the stay was. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless major improvements are made.

To say this is overpriced is a slight understatement. They don’t tell you the parking is £30 on top of your price, the bathroom are extremely small meaning if you were a larger person you literally wouldn’t fit in the shower as I am fairly slim and it was tight. The windows on the bottom floor won’t open so it gets stuffy and the walls are so thin you can hear every movement above and beside you.. ALL NIGHT LONG. I have lived in uni accommodation so this coming from me must mean it was very loud so much so you actually can’t sleep. If you like sleeping in darkness- you won’t. The hallway light stays on all night shining through your door. Bed and breakfast you ask? No just bed. And it’s very hard. The mattress is what I imagine a holding cell to be firmness wise but at least the duvet is somewhat comfy. It’s getting 2 stars because the location is great and it’s actually surprisingly clean. Would I stay here again…. NO. Oh and they don’t give you keys so if you come back a few drinks down good luck remembering the long code and getting down the terribly steep stairs.

Great little guest house, self check in, which was easy. It's easy to find the hotel also. Secure parking close by if you need it . Within walking distance to the Brighton centre, and all shopping etc. Rooms well furnished, lovely comfortable bed, nice crisp clean bedding. Tea and coffee facility excellent, though I thought a small fridge would be useful for fresh milk as the person I was with needed to have almond milk due to allergies. Carpets clean. Enough hanging space for clothing for a weekend. Shower clean and shower gel etc.

very good location, it is next to Brighton beach and the pier there are many parking lots nearby. also at a short distance there are supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. as a room, the one we were in was very nice, clean, quiet, but the bathroom was very small. the owner was very kind and helped us by email immediately in everything we asked him.

We stayed for one night at the Churchill Guesthouse. Great communication from Robert and easy-to-follow instructions on how to access the property and our room. Rooms are only accessible via stairs. (We did like the quirkiness of the flooring going off in all directions adding to its character!) We stayed in Room 4 on the first floor, which was spacious, clean and supplied with everything you need for a one-night stay: kettle, tea, coffee and milk, hairdryer, shampoo/body wash and conditioner available too, plenty of hangers and a hanging rail for clothes, together with an iron and ironing board. It was a nice touch to have a full bottle of water available. The bed was comfortable for us. Churchill Guesthouse is in a quiet residential area and is excellently placed for access to the shops, beach and the Brighton Centre. Pre-booked 24-hour parking was available at Regency Secure Parking for a very reasonable price (and is no more than a 5-minute walk away from the guesthouse). We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely couple of days in Brighton.

This hotel is a rip off. When I booked this hotel it was suggest by @university of Brighton as a trusted provider at the rate of £52 per night and it didn’t say at the website from £52, I have my screen shots from @Visit Brighton website. for the ombudsman in case I don’t get an immediate refund I will definitely reach out to the @univerity of Brighton @Visit Brighton @ the @ ombudsman and definitely I do not recommend anyone to stay there, sincerely, I ended up paying £73.5 instead of £52. A difference of £120 for a five nights stay. With this amount you can pick and choose from a range of hotels in Brighton. Avoid! I only see the owner with the rude attitude on my in and my way out. He is saying that he saw me every day. This is a complete lie. It is not for the 120 pounds that he stole from me but I feel completely fooled. I will take this to where ever it gets. I promise.

After we arrived at the hotel and collected the keys, in general, the hotel wasn't the standard we are expecting for its STAR rating and the price of £161 per night. We were in room 8 on the third floor, as we entered the room, there was a clear smell of mould and cleaning products. We were checking in the late afternoon, so there was no reason for the room not to be ready or of a good standard. Mainly due to the smell, we instantly booked another hotel and texted the property owner Richard. His response wasn't good, "You can't do that without ringing me" type attitude, not how can I help etc. He has been pretty rude with his communication and doesn't want to refund the room, hence I guess his attitude. Be warned, it's not that great a hotel, location is good, but the standard of the rooms, size and the fact it smelt, was a big no-no, as you can imagine.
