Stewart and his delightful dog Jemma were such fine hosts. The character home is a treasure trove of fascinating and beautiful objects. We also appreciated Stewart’s flexibility in accommodating our evolving needs a picking us up from the train station . Such a great location as well.

Had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Polruan. Stuart was friendly helpful and accommodating to me and my dog. We had room , a lovely spacious room with ensuite power shower. The bed was heavenly comfortable for a perfect night's sleep, nice secure garden too. A perfect base for Cuckmere haven. Birling gap, Beachyhead and Seaford. We even ventured east to the white cliffs if Dover.

Our stay in Polruan was truly exceptional, and Stewart proved to be an outstanding host. His gesture of driving us to the village centre for a tour was incredibly thoughtful. The rooms were impeccably clean, well-organized, and filled with a delightful fragrance. Furthermore, the location proved to be conveniently situated, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Polruan is a beatiful and quirky house but in need of maintenance and some cleaning. Stewart is a very friendly host. The rooms come with cooked hot breakfast and we also had a small but sufficient selection of cereals. For a small extra fee, he cooked us a lovely chicken supper that was accompanied with a nice French wine. We had 3 rooms and stayed in the off-season (winter) for 3 nights. The house is a perfect location for exploring Seaford and the surrounding area. The house faces the South Downs and it is so easy to just skip across the road for a walk. It is a short 10 minutes walk to the town. Due to the train strikes, Stewart was kind enough to drive us to Brighton's Poole bus stop to catch the bus, for a small fee. Had a lovely time.

Such a quaint yet funky guest house with beautiful views. Not your normal hotel or BnB, it was very homely and Stuart welcomed us on arrival, making breakfast every morning. It would have been nicer for the room to be a little cleaner and a few of the condiments on the breakfast table were out of date. Regardless, the was a perfect spot for us as guests of a wedding at Florence House.

Beautiful house and kind and caring host Stewart. Staying here was more like staying at friends home. Rooms are large, perfectly clean and every peace of the place is so cozy. I was woken up in the morning by the many birds singing in the garden. We had a delicious cooked breakfast in the large dining room full antiques and also two fine scooters. Definitely the place to stay next time we’re in Seaford.

Favourite home away from home, and a place that I miss - close to the sea and the city centre, yet quiet and cosy. J and S are amazing hosts, whose positivity and energy are contagious.
