   We had such a wonderful stay. This is not your average B&B. The house is exceptional: it is very very old (14th century) and has been skillfully and lovingly cared for by Mike and Susie for many years. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden and farmland. We stayed in the spacious four poster room; we loved the warm comfy bed, roomy modern bathtub and lovely views. The decor is a feast for the eyes. Intense, over-the-top, gorgeous. Every room is unique: nothing is half-baked in this house. Thank you to Susie and Mike for being such warm, welcoming hosts. We left feeling very happy and fortunate!

   Beautiful property in an oasis of calm on the edge of Hurstpierpoint. Stunning grounds, so many details and touches on everything from the accommodation to the food and gardens. Perfect location for exploring the Downs and Sussex more broadly. Susie and Mike were very warm and welcoming hosts. We would return in a heartbeat.

   Mike and Susie are super guests. It is a beautiful setting in Sussex close to Brighton and Burgess Hill. Hurstpierpoint is a lovely little village close to the farmhouse with restaurants and bars. Lovely breakfast was served. Thank you for your hospitality.

   I could not recommend this quaint quiet (un)traditional Bed and Breakfast more highly if I tried. Susie and Mike are the nicest and most jubilant hosts you could ask for. I had a wedding in Hurstpier Point and was able to find a room and board last minute with them. The local Travel Lodges etc were all booked up and thank god as it meant I found this gem. The gardens are impeccably maintained, the views they offer across the english countryside impressive, its quiet, convenient and more than one would expect for the price. I will be back!! Thank you Mike and Suz for sharing your home with everyone who stays with you. You're doing the Lords work!!

   Beautiful B&B with warm and friendly hosts - stunning rural views and a wonderful breakfast. Hot drinks available in our room and in a beautiful communal breakfast room. Our dog was welcomed and very happy with his doggy treats. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful walks from the door up to the South Downs. Will definitely look forward to returning!

   What a charming place and lovely owners! We had a wedding up the road and stayed for one night, nothing was too much trouble, and we felt at home immediately. Suzie and Mike were charming, the breakfast delicious, weather forecast for the day ahead printed out. Just lovely. We’ll be back.

   What a wonderful place to stay, one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in. The bedrooms, communal areas and grounds are stunning and so well thought out. To top it off, Susie and Mike are an awesome team, so kind and welcoming and genuinely want you to have the best stay possible. The breakfast is also divine and presented beautifully with fresh produce from the garden. I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends!

   Along with two friends we have just enjoyed a wonderful afternoon cream tea! Lovely mixed tray of sandwiches, scones with fresh jam and cream, a mixed fruit dish followed by an eton mess pud - wonderful. . Beautiful gardens with views over Sussex countryside. Highly recommend.
