The hotel arranged a wonderful buffet for sixty people. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Thank you.

We stayed in a clean and comfy double room which needs a little refresh but this is a old traditional English building . Excellent food at dinner with great service. Also a very good breakfast. When we arrived the hotel was extremely busy with two post funeral events. However, the staff ensured we had a parking space and received a warm welcome. We would highly recommend Findon Manor, very good value against the chain "hotels".

Had afternoon tea for a birthday celebration Quite disappointing Sandwiches had obviously been made earlier and put in the fridge and had hardly any filling. The scones were hard and more cake like. The cakes were the nicest part of it. Nicely presented but definitely not worth the money sadly

Very pleasant location. The room we stayed in was very large, was well decorated. Had a large bathroom and a big bath/ shower. Nice touches were the large cups on the tea and coffee tray, really nice smelling bath/ shower/ shampoo compliments. A large fan and additional radiator, if required. A wide selection on the free breakfast, which was first rate

Really enjoyable stay. Quiet and comfy. Food was excellent. Sussex full English breakfast cooked to order. None of your warmed over breakfast buffet here! Great spot in the south downs for walkers. We'll be back again soon...

We chose Findon Manor to hold our celebration of life for my late father as we liked the village location and the 'feel' of the manor when we went to find the right venue in the South Downs area. We had a large party of 70 and due to the rain we were able to spread out from the main room into the comfortable and relaxing reception room and Snooty Fox bar for those who needed a stiffer drink. The staff were accessible and available but not intrusive. We were well catered for, the tea and coffee was hot and free flowing. They were gracious to provide a memory table for us to use and we bought our own 'Grandad biscuits' and bowls of his favourite chocolates. The music was gentle and calming and my mother felt relaxed and at home there. We thought this occasion would be too sad for us to return to, but we look forward to bringing friends back there for afternoon tea who were unable to make the funeral. I would highly recommend the Manor for family celebrations, big or small. Gaynor

Lunch with my daughter and 1yr old granddaughter to celebrate her 1st birthday. The staff were great and so co-operative when I asked if they could decorate the area with balloons and bring in the birthday cake with lit candles and a sparkler. The menu was varied with a very good selection of food to meet all tastes. The presentation of the food was excellent and so delicious. The occasion lovely and a great time was had by all! Thank you.
