   Our archery club had its anual dinner/trophy bash here (8.11.25) and it was terrific. The food is great, the service is really excellent and the atmosphere of the newly refurbished restaurant is much improved since last year. Thankyou Castle Inn for making us feel so welcome.

   This is to say 'thank you' so much for making our stay so easy. You all went the extra mile to check and supply the food we could eat. The room was nice and clean. The suitcase was taken upstairs for us and brought back down. Little things that cause problems as we get older and the help was really appreciated.

   Just revisited after a range of improvements have been made by the new owners. The hotel/bar/restaurant has a much better flow to it now and the bedrooms have been decluttered, leading to a much better look, with a place now for your luggage. Rooms seem really good value for the area. Would definitely come back again.

   Popped in for lunch after a lovely dog walk along the river. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We chose two courses from the lunch menu which was absolutely divine. I would recommend the food as it was first class. Will be coming again soon.

   This was the dream stay. Surprise hen party, visiting Brighton and 6 of us stayed and we were blown away with the service, the hotel itself, the food, the atmosphere, it was utter perfection. My whole experience at the hotel was amazing, from meeting and greeting, to the room which was beautiful, decorated by staff for my hen weekend, the paintings throughout, the garden, the parking...just perfect. Thank you for the most amazing stay

   Stayed in a garden room with dog while walking the South Downs Way. The room had an AC unit which was super useful for drying clothes, but there was insufficient hanging space. The food was excellent and the service good. Would have stayed another night but they didn't have space.

   Lovely stay at a lovely hotel. The room was just right for us and showed how the staff had listened to our request, as my wife has an issue with mobility. The bed was comfortable food delish; especially the eggs, whether poached or fried, they were perfect. Delicious local ales and known brands in the pub, which was a real treat. I ordered a portion of chips that were ever so crisp and delicious, but I did not have enough stomach space to consume them all! The staff are exceptional and more than helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here and will happily stay again. The breakfasts though, oh they are divine!

   Amazing! The team was excellent, especially with the kids! No questiens remained unanswered! Quick and friendly service and the area was also nice for long walks and visiting the old castle grounds. The rooms were considered a bit small by some, I found it just brilliant and cosy! And, as mentioned already: The team was just excellent! Always again!
