I love this B&B in Brighton and hVe stayed many times. The staff are friendly, there is a wide selection for breakfast and the rooms are comfortable with modern bathrooms. All rooms have a kettle so you can make your own tea or hot chocolate. The B&B is in the center of Brighton, very close to the Lanes and shopping center plus there is a sea view from some of the rooms.

Loved my time at Brighton house. The staff were welcoming and kind. The room and bathroom were clean and fresh. Came with a fan, blanket, hot water bottle, tv, things for warm beverages. At breakfast the staff welcomed me and asked if I wanted warm beverages and toast. Great selection of food for everyone’s needs. The leftovers of croissants or cakes from breakfast offered the guests in the hallway. The only negatives I can find is there was some lamp bulbs that needed changing. The plant on my balcony was dead (could have taken it away or planted a new plant/flower). I really recommend this B&B and would book it again.

Great location for exploring Brighton, right at the square where the old pier used to be and walking distance to the Pavilion and the remaining pier. Bedrooms weren't huge but big enough for our short stay and packed full of character. Staff were very friendly and helpful (their recommendation for cost-effective and convenient local parking was spot on!). Would stay there again.

This is a regency building in Brighton, tall and narrow, so plenty of stairs in an old house! It is a charming place to stay if you are intending to enjoy a few days in Brighton. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, even if you may need to climb some stairs to get there. The common areas and dining area are pretty fab - a bit of a funky take, but the regency bones are front and centre and very well presented. Breakfast is continental - normally enough to give me hives! but here it is two serveries groaning with fruit, yoghurt, bread, cold meat, cheese and soft boiled eggs. There is toast, tea and coffee served to your table. We really enjoyed breakfast. The best thing about Brighton House though is the welcome. Staff are smiley and happy, interested in their visitors and can’t do enough for them. From the chat on arrival, the greetings as you come and go and the breakfast service- all the way through to the farewell when you drop off the keys, you feel that these people love their job. Thank you all for making us feel so at home.

Would I stay here again… Unfortunately no I wouldn’t! Room: The room was extremely dated. Cracked walls. Wallpaper coming off. 1970’s old carpet. The tv was on another wall where couldn’t be watched in bed. I know I’m not there to watch tv but we all love some bedtime tv when staying away. I burnt my hand on the bedside table lamp! The mattress and pillows were shocking. The mattress dipped in the middle and the pillows were lumpy. Clearly has not been changed since the 1970’s! The bathroom was pretty standard. The shower was so small that I could barely get it. And I’m a size 30 waist and I’m 5’7! Staff: very friendly. Didn’t really need to engage much tbh! Breakfast: Fresh breakfast which was good. Definitely not worth the price for this BB! The place needs a good facelift and quickly!

Whilst the room was basic, it was clean and tidy, and shower was good. Breakfast was fantastic with a great continental breakfast spread with plenty of choices. The croissants were delicious and plentiful. Really nice people working there and a great location. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I stayed at this place late July. The staff member that greeted me was nice and helped me with luggage. My room wasn't great, there were visible signs of water damage and cracks in the walls. I guess this is due to the nature of the building being an older one but still not ideal. As it was only a one night stay It wasn't a massive concern. That evening my phone stopped working and I needed to get in touch with the owners as I had no alarm for the morning which I really needed. I couldn't get hold of them by the means told to me (this was from 9pm) so not even that late. This made me really anxious and I ended up leaving a post it note downstairs which was not ideal. Luckily my body clock woke me up before I needed to wake up as they didn't see my note until 20 mins the time asked. Breakfast the staff were also very nice and welcoming and I had gluten free options. Location also really good should I mention- so close to the sea and town centre

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days/nights. We especially liked the excellent location, the friendly welcome and the lovingly furnished hotel. The late snack provided was also a great attention. The breakfast was very good (classic European breakfast). The staff was very helpful.

A credit to the owners, a very friendly, clean, comfortable environment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, perfect location as right by the seafront. The room was lovely with a very comfortable huge bed. Breakfast was amazing with a wonderful choice of foods. Highly recommended and a huge thank you to all at Brighton House.
