I have rented with AR Lettings for the past 9 years and have been pleased with their approachability and service. The staff have dealt with difficult neighbouring tenants on my behalf, have taken ownership of mistakes on their part and are always ready to listen. I'd like to especially call out Lucy, Leonor, Bradley, and all the professional decorators (Neil!), plumbers (Asa/Richard/Tony from back in the day) and others who have helped when things break down. If I had my way, I'd be back.
Rented with a private landlord through AR lettings. We agreed a move out date (last day of the month) with Caroline and AR were informed. We gradually started moving belongings out of the flat a week before we were due to hand the keys back. Four days before the agreed move out date I was informed by AR that the landlord had arrived at the property without any notice and wanted us to contact her as she was going to throw away the remaining belongings in the flat. When I called AR for advice they said this was between us and the landlord and offered no help or mediation. My flatmate phoned Caroline and calmly explained that we had agreed to move out at the end of the month, but Caroline would not listen to her and shouted. I phoned her next and she was extremely aggressive, would not let me speak and reduced me to tears. She told me my belongings would be taken to the tip. I had to leave work quickly in the middle of the day to make sure this did not happen, and upon arrival to the flat (which I still had keys for and had not fully moved out of) many of my items were in bin bags. I took away what I could but tried to leave as soon as possible as I was scared. I have never experienced anything like this in my life after renting for 15 years. AR were extremely unhelpful, and work with unprofessional and threatening landlords. I would not recommend dealing with this company.
Very pleased with the service delivery and prompt attention to tenancy issues by AR Lettings. I met Leonor when we I was looking for a place to stay in Brighton. I found her to be welcoming, efficient, friendly and very professional. I have recently rented a property through AR Lettings with the help of their agent Zuraya. From the moment I started interacting with them it has been smooth sailing and an absolute breeze. The property is in immaculate condition, the communication from Zuraya has been clear and when needed helpful and encouraging. I cant recommend this agency enough by far one of the best in Brighton

Having lost my tenant due to the sale of my house falling through, Brad and his team jumped back into action. Their determination to resolve issues and to complete the re-letting of my property as fast as they could was impressive. A special mention to Zuraya who worked diligently to secure a new tenant, followed things up when she said she would and rang me on her way home to tell me the tenant had moved in successfully. I have recently rented out a property with AR Lettings and they seem to be really good at what they do. Bradley Austin in particular has been very professional, proactive and communicative from the get go. He carefully considers both the landlord and tenant when letting out a property which is a trait I value highly. He also seems to have a clear understanding of the current rental market, which resulted in us agreeing a let within a couple of days!
