I had a shocking experience today at the Hall Road Aldi in Norwich. My partner and I wanted to buy an oversized hoodie but didn’t know the price, so we asked at the self-checkout where two staff members were standing. Instead of helping, they told us to join a long queue at the main tills. When I decided to buy the item anyway and entered a price on the self-checkout, a female staff member (around 40–50, with tattoos on her neck and chest) suddenly grabbed the hoodie out of my hand and told us we were not allowed to continue shopping. Completely unprofessional and aggressive behaviour. After this, I emptied my shopping bag onto the self-checkout and left the store — I refuse to shop somewhere customers are treated like this. Great store, had everything we needed on our little vacation trip. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Couldnt spot any rubbish or waste on the floor, isles kept clean. Good signage and well lit. Recomend this store to locals and holiday makers.
I have NEVER in my 28 years on this earth ever seen toilets this dirty. There were used sanitary pads and used unraveled nappies on the floor, there was rubbish everywhere it wasn’t pleasant at all! It looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in days!! We come here weekly and the Staff are fab and super helpful, there’s always a great selection of food and the shopfloor is clean
Cheapest supermarket by far. Great products. Everything is fresh. Great selection of meat. Would highly recommend Aldi.
Selection is quite good like any other Aldi, and so are the prices. It is usually quite crowded, making it unpleasant to shop here, specially on weekends. New self-checkout for bigger shopping carts is cool but needs massive improvement in being able to not rely as much on the shop assistants to ignore the wrong weight of the item.
Great selection of Xmas food etc. It was pretty busy at around 10.30am though. Checkouts were busy but I used the self checkouts. The only annoying thing was that when I went back to my car, someone had scraped the bumper!!!!!
Aldi supermarket at Hall Road offer maximum 3 hrs parking stay. Variety of vegetables are comparatively wider than other local supermarkets. Muffin, bread, cakes, pies are attractive, freshly cooked.
