Nothing like as good as it used to be. Daily gaps in the chiller cabinets, and often on the vegetables shelves, are very disappointing! On the plus side, the excellent staff always give good service, and there are frequently good offers and discounts to be had. Outside there's an ATM and plenty of parking.
Why have the store open, not busy & with at least 2 post-office trained counter staff yet have the post-office counter closed? Even the staff thought this dumb & resented having to turn away customers. Also ridiculously overpriced in the way only the Co-Op manages; poor quality at M&S prices. The inconvenient convenience store... Friendly, helpful staff & a free cashpoint bump it up to 2 stars though.
Slow service, high prices, badly laid out shop.There is nowhere for the long queue of checkout customers to wait without blocking the shelves. Usually only one (or sometimes two if we are lucky) till is staffed. On a recent visit an assistant at the checkout was chewing gum whilst scanning customers food. I would have imagined that would be against your rules. It certainly should be !

I cannot fault this little co-op. It is a local unsung hero, good range for such a small footprint, fantastic staff (will ALWAYS go the extra mile for customers who need more help) and check out the reduced section; bargains to be had! I'll admit I do not do my weekly shop here but I may as well, as I'm in almost every day lol. Shout out to the Post Office staff too; and don't forget, they don't decide the opening times; the post office do.
The staff are excellent. Always friendly and very helpful. Shelves are occasionally short of some items, but I'm sure that's due to circumstances beyond their control. Perfect mini market if you don't want the stress of going to a large supermarket.
