Terrible customer service don’t care about extenuating circumstances just want your money. Did not offer any compensation or solution just took our money and rebooked our spots on the trip (2x money for them)
Terrible customer service. I relied on the legal terms to move my booking to another date and Swimtrek decided not to honour their terms and offered instead some unreasonable options. I will not use this company again even though my initial swim holiday was great.
I attend their regular group coaching sessions in Brighton at Sea Lanes and they are excellent. Andy and Nikki the teachers are really knowledgeable and have a great eye for picking up thinks in my stroke to improve and have a great selection of different exercises to keep each session interesting. Swim Trek is a company run by swimmers who love swimming and this translates very well to all the customers. I haven’t been able to make one of their holidays yet but hope to do so as all of my friends who have been have great things to say about them. Steve
This was my first holiday with Swim Trek and it won’t be the last. Guides Ricky and Alessandra did everything right to bring a disparate group of strangers together with their expert knowledge, skill, and experience. Safety was always number one as we explored coasts and crossings within the Lesser Cyclades. Their sincerity, charm, and good nature made every day a happy adventure. The program was so well-conceived and professionally run, I look forward to booking the next one.

Packed full of challenging swims, coral, marine life, Balinese culture, delicious food, great accommodation and more. 12 people from across the globe with the shared passion of swimming makes for the ideal holiday. Swim instruction included and loads of laughs and great conversation too. I absolutely cannot wait to book the next adventure and I can’t recommend this company highly enough. I went on the Brighton trip and it was fantastic. The staff at SwimTrek were well-prepared, knowledgeable and considerate. I would recommend it to anyone, even beginner swimmers. I can't wait to book my next trip.
I was very disappointed with my SwimTrek experience. I have done many holidays with other swim companies and always had a fantastic experience from every aspect. ..... I was booked with them in July 2020 but when they asked for the balance and it was clear we wouldn't be able to go, I cancelled. As SwimTrek hadn't officially cancelled yet, I did not get offered a refund but they did hold my deposit for this year. This year they againasked for the balance despite foreign office advice being not to travel to the destination, so no insurance available. When I declined they refused to return my deposit but have held it as a credit and when I tried to use it against an English based location, they declined as they may not be able to run it. Very very poor customer treatment and they have certainly lost a potential good customer in me. Plenty of other good companies around to choose. I have had the opportunity to read the below response from Swim Trek and do understand that all businesses have incurred costs through the pandemic, hence I had no real issue when a credit for the original holiday (2020) was given rather than a refund. This year 2021, although I have been unable to go due to the pandemic, the holiday has still run due to the international guest base and I am pleased that they can continue to trade. However, given that the week I had booked and have not been refunded for, is currently shown as fully booked............. it does seem like they are having their cake and eating it in keeping hold of my deposit.
