Had possible tonsillitis symptoms , was patient firsted by pharmacist Oliver. He was welcoming , relaxing and gave me a quick consult , within 5 mins I was already out the door with some antibiotics and some throat sweets to take the edge off. Pharmacy staff were lovelly and efficient as well. Would recommend.

The pharmacist is lovely and very professional but the younger staff are surly, unwelcoming and very abrupt. Given that they are mainly dealing with ill people their customer service is appalling it's like the begrudge you interrupting their day. Feel some customer service designing would help.

Sometimes when I go to this pharmacy, there's a womanβmaybe Chinese, I'm not sureβwho is very rude. She doesnβt know how to talk to people. Her attitude is really bad.

I have to go every week to pick up my wife's meds. The staff are always efficient, polite and helpful. Absolutely no complaints. Sure it can be a bit longer when there are more customers, but that's obvious.

My mother has been using this pharmacy for several years collecting medication for both herself & my father. She has found the service appalling except for 1 or 2 staff. There is one particular woman on the phone who goes out of her way to be obstructive, awkward, patronising & a 'jobs worth'. Frequently prescriptions were not ready on the date stated & always being told to ring back later. The reception staff (except a couple) were unsmiling, unhelpful & made her feel very uncomfortable & a nuisance. My mother is 82 years old but normally very confident & competent but felt anxious every time she had to deal with the staff. She has enough to cope with caring for my frail father without having to communicate with such unsympathetic staff. She has since transferred to another pharmacy after a recommendation. She now gets texts when their drugs are ready & so far the pharmacist has been kind & reassuring.

I visited the pharmacy 30.03,'23 asking for help to get my repeat prescriptions delivered to my new address, now in my mid 70's and unable to walk too far. I had printed out all my details and handed them to a helpful assistant who then asked a colleague about my request, this person was extremely rude and dismissive and left me quite shaken, the person behind me said 'So much for customer service'. For many years this pharmacy had cheerful, helpful staff sadly of late there is a shortage of medication, long queues, dismissive/short tempered staff. Needless to say I will be seeking another chemist to arrange my medication. We are asked to support small shops etc rather than use multinationals however in this case looks like that's impossible.

Unfortunately this place has gone way downhill. Long wait times just to collect, missing items. I feel it just doesn't have the capacity to service the number of customers using it. I've given 2 stars as the staff are working their socks off, there is not enough of them and there's physically no room for any more.

Hopelessly inefficient. I have waited 30 minutes to reach the reception window then a further five to ten minutes for them to find my meds! There is one person serving and what looks like four gossiping. I have moved to an online pharmacy.

Amazing service today. Iβve just started on a course of cholesterol medication & received a call from Shelley Road pharmacy today to find out how Iβm getting on with this new medication & to clarify that I canβt take anything with grapefruit in it. Thank you so much for your care. Happy Christmas x

Extremely disappointed. Moved to Worthing last year and I was hoping with the good reviews that this was a reliable surgery. They took me off repeat prescription without warning for a medication I've been on for 5 years. When my medication ran out I was frantically ringing on the phone trying to get my script signed off and they shrugged their shoulders basically and told me anything to fob me off. I had to put In a formal complaint, a manager called me very apologetically and said I was back on repeat, this was an admin error and she was very sorry. I thought at least they listen to complaints and mistakes happen. Came back this month, not on repeat dispensing, no script for me. I feel sorry for the pharmacy staff, they all seem lovely and attentive and the man who heard me out today looked apologetic. Lady at the desk was the opposite, told me I will have to miss my dose today and it will be ready tomorrow. Unbelievable. Avoid if you have mental health problems, they will mess up your prescriptions. I wonder if people with other conditions have such a blasΓ© approach to their medicine. Something tells me probably not.
