The place itself is lovely, but the staff could be more respectful. I explained my situation a few times, yet they kept repeatedly asking me about allergies and intolerances. Even after I’d answered, they brought it up again when serving me. It was stressful and took away from the experience — I couldn’t even enjoy my hot chocolate.
Went in on Sunday the 31st August, two girls were working and i could tell one of them were being trained and was fairly new. However, the girl training her I overheard wasn’t able to get a break. Absolutely appalling that any form of management would let this happen. I hope this gets sorted and the girl gets compensated somehow
I always enjoy my visits to Costa Coffee—the staff are friendly, the service is great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. A special shout-out to Irina—she’s always kind, professional, and goes the extra mile to make customers feel valued. She truly stands out and definitely deserves a promotion!
Why do the staff feel it's okay to close off part of the store 90 minutes before the closing time indicated on the door? It's very annoying to have staff vacuuming around you when you're trying to enjoy an afternoon cuppa.
A very rude person called Josh. I asked why I paid £4 for a mocha while it says £3.5 on the board. He raised his voice and tried to patronise me. I wouldn't take it. Very rude unprofessional person. The problem he evenl called himself the store manager!! I was reflecting on that and wondered if it was due to my race and colour? Maybe!
Pleace is right in town center, it has one view on a side street and another one on main street of the city centre Coffe options are various and you can add cream and syrups on any of them Price is good too Friendly Staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Always friendly staff and always busy. When visiting today there was a long queue and only one member of staff working. Young girl was rushing around like crazy trying to prepare orders for delivery drivers to take whilst also apologising to customers for the wait. We still had friendly service and great coffee. 5 Star :)
Staff were helpful and chatty, the shop was clean and tidy, very warm which was lovely in this cold weather. Black Forest hot chocolate was delicious!
Always amazingly stuffy sweaty and dirty. It’s a pretty average franchised Costa coffee shop. Always a bit hit and miss on service, cleanliness and atmosphere. The plus points are that it’s open later on Sunday than the other shops (to 6 I think). Coffee is ok but not great. Food is sandwiches and toasted sandwiches Cake and coffee are what they are about really. Decor is standard Costa coffee style, so plenty of browns, greys and black but they do have big windows so not too dim.
