we stayed for 3 nights in November 2025, we booked the executive suite, the room was clean nicely presented. Tea and coffee provide in the room. Although the room was nice enough, it did not warrant the executive title. Location is brilliant straight outside to the town centre. Wonderful staff throughout the hotel, service standards are excellent. However, breakfast was disappointing, not from the range of items available, produce was fresh, choice is excellent and plentiful. the complaint we have is concerning the cooked breakfast, as everything was only lukewarm, even when we went down for breakfast at 7.30am the breakfast was still only just warm on the servery, and I found myself rushing to eat before it went cold. So overall we really enjoyed our stay, and would return again.

Stayed here for a function last week. It was not good. The bedroom was dated. The over the bath shower screen didn’t fit, the toilet didn’t flush properly and the hairdryer was broken. The cleaning staff were even kind enough to leave a former guests tablet on the floor. The food for the function was terrible. The soup was tepid and the beef was inedible, just fat and gristle. The location is excellent and Norwich is a beautiful city to explore but perhaps choose a different hotel

Five of us booked for dinner on Saturday evening. We were given a fantastic private space with a round table. Service was brilliant, staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Food choices excellent and very tasty. We fish cooked perfectly, rib eye steak wonderful. Limited but good beer selection and a very wide choice of wines and whisky.

Excellent location for the Cathedral and to wonder around the city by foot. We got parked in their car park no problem. This was £10 for the night. Breakfast was nice and a wide selection to cater to all tastes. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. My only niggle was that it was very noisy at night with shouting outside all night. (The drunk students) if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs. The old windows don't keep out noise. This might be because we visited on a Saturday. It might not be so bad during the work week. Over all a great stay but i felt it was pricey. £214 per night and the room wasnt anything special. The hallways and lounges were gorgeous though. I have stayed in better for alot less but the area is expensive I guess.

Tricky spiral staircase but worth it....Great junior suite. Really loved the location and on site parking. Unfortunately from here it goes down hill. No real bar, restuarant mirrors much from faulty towers.Great staff trying to deliver the impossible. Unimpressive food, unexplained delays during which we could have cooked our meals. Left before our main course arrived. Quirky hotel, great location good rooms but please eat out. What the difference a day makes. Just had breakfast really attentive and helpful staff. Good food selection and items to order. Made up for last nights experience but still eating out tonight

Excellent location, the staff are welcoming and the service is really good. I love seeing all the seating areas in different places and the outdoor garden area looks cute. The rooms are a little small but nonetheless are comfortable, clean and well-equipped. They offer a complimentary spin around the city in one of their rather posh Bentleys! Free parking to!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Maids Head Hotel in Norwich and I must say, it was an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly and helpful staff who made us feel right at home. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. But, the real highlight of our stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant, The WinePress, serves some of the best cuisine I've had the pleasure of tasting. The menu features a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes, and the quality of the food was simply outstanding. Whether we were indulging in a delicious breakfast, a hearty lunch, or a sumptuous dinner, the food was always cooked to perfection.

A mixed experience The staff are friendly and very pleasant. We booked because it seemed really pleasant online and had electric charging which is really useful as we travelled far. Breakfast options were good, continental options and full English you can help yourself too. I was really disappointed with our room, which looked abit like a premier Inn room and didn't match the feel of the hotel. We had small camp beds for the kids which I thought was great. But was not told these would cost me extra, that was just added to our bill. Breakfast I thought was fairly priced for adults but I thought was steep for a 1 yr old and 3 yr old to be charged as adults. The electric charging did not work! And throughout the night stopped charging as if it was faulty. We weren't sure if the reception had turned the charging off at night , but I did ask they said apparently it trips?! Over all we don't think the price was worth the experience and although the place is beautiful we probably won't visit again.

Came for our works Xmas party today (we were a group of over 30). All the food was lovely, but the staff were all great. One chap (I think his name was Chris) really was fab. Looked after us really well and was very professional...he kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. And was really good humoured, even though, with such a big crowd it was a touch loud at times. Great food, great service all around.

Great location, spacious car park with electric vehicle charging points, good service with friendly staff. The rooms are nicely decorated with sufficient amenities and clean as expected. If my room was slightly bigger it would be perfect. Communal areas are stylish and classy. The only aspect I would expect to be better is the breakfast as the buffet should be enhanced and espresso coffee should not be an extra charge in my opinion. Also it was easier to get juice at breakfast than water... Generally quite satisfied and would visit again.
