   Great store sad it’s closing the end of this week. My dad has worked here for 35 years and I have grown up in the canteen and around the store all the staff are amazing and I hope we all stay in touch- goodbye Homebase

   I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an incident that occurred at your store yesterday. Due to my work schedule, I arrived 20 minutes before closing to grab some plants and intend to pick it as quickly as possible. Despite this, I encountered extremely poor treatment from one of your staff members. While I was selecting my plants, the staff member began spraying the trees right where I was standing. He appeared to be unhappy with my presence so close to closing time. I do not know what spray was used, but shortly after returning home, I felt dizzy and experienced significant discomfort in my nose because I'm allergic to chemicals. This incident raises serious health and safety concerns. I understand that arriving near closing time can be inconvenient for staff, but this does not justify such behavior. Spraying chemicals near customers, especially without any warning, is both unprofessional and hazardous. The staff member's attitude and actions were unacceptable and have left me feeling unwell and deeply concerned about customer safety at your store. I hope you will take appropriate action to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. It is crucial to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all customers.

   Loads of parking, layout isn't the best but easy enough flat access for disabled users. Signage could be better for the 2 hours free parking, but I don't think it'll affect most people shopping there overstaying. Store was bright and plenty of space to get around and the staff were pleasant and eager to help. Currently have a Xmas sale as of writing this, but they managed to keep everything tidy and well presented.

   I would like to give 0 stars but I have no option. I have bought a piece of wood which was marked at £8.50. However after checking the bill I was charged £21 for the piece of wood. I have already used the wood, but went back to the store to ask why I was charged £21 instead of £8.50. The lady at the till said they won't refund the price and I have to return the wood for full refund. The manager of the store said that it was my mistake as I should have checked the price when I have bought the wood. You can clearly see the price in the attached picture. The Manager was not helpful and was not accepting their pricing mistake instead blaming me that I should have checked the bill before leaving the store. In future I will not shop in this store as the store manager is very rude and blames customers for his colleagues mistakes.

   Big and spacious with plenty of parking. Large plant section outside but strange mix of plants. Oddly a fair amount of Farrow and Ball paint reduced in telhe paint aisle. Friendly staff

   Lovely store, staff very helpful, wanted to buy small greenhouse. Out of stock, wouldn't let us buy the one on display even at full price. Said we could have it at full price ok but then manager then said we couldn't have it, presumably as they would have to make another one up. She also said they are coming in a couple of days, but if we ordered it delivery to shop we would have to pay delivery charge, even though they were delivering them to the shop anyway?!! We left it and found there was one in Homebase at Telford so we drove over there to buy it.
