   I did drop my VW GTE to VRS. The car showed a gear selector switch fault, which has been going for quite a while. I brought the car to a VW main dealer, who charged me £160 odd pounds for the diagnosis and then told me the only way to rectify this fault, was to fit a new gear selector switch to the gearbox, which would cost (assuming it was relatively straightforward) around £2500. I did talk to Jason at VRS and explained what was wrong with the car. He told me that this was a quite common problem and that firstly they would try a software update (£148.80) which might well sort it. I brought the car around, they did the update and so far it has worked. I was so impressed with VRS, that even if (fingers crossed) the computer update will not work in the future, I would be very happy for Jason and his colleagues to fix my car. They came across not only competent, but even more importantly honest. Main dealer was hellbent on replacement of the switch, they did not even mention that there might be a software upgrade.    I don't have anything bad to say . Had my car with them September 2024 with a handful of problems. They were clear helpful and informative all the way yes they are slightly more expensive than others but you get what you pay and they are worth every penny. I waited till now to review just in case but I can't find anything bad to say . Big thanks .

   VRS is the place to go. My Audi was put in there very capable hands to diagnose and fix multiple issues. Will and the staff have been so kind to see that this car was 100% perfect before allowing the car to be collected. The attention to detail and the workmanship is outstanding. The knowledge that the technicians have at vrs is exceptional. Would like to say a big THANKYOU to everyone that has had the pleasure to have worked on the car. She will be loved and Thankyou for making me feel so welcome on pick up. The new reception area looks 10/10, matching the great service.

   I had my car fixed at vrs. They diagnosed fault on my arrival sourced new and used parts due to expensive price of new steering rack. This really helped me out. Not just a garage for tuning but a competent team for standard cars

   Fantastic service today from VRS. I booked in for a diagnostic check while I waited. As well as doing the check they had a part delivered and fixed the car all within 1hr. Unbelievable service! Very friendly too!

   might be a really good garage have not had the experience of handing my own car in .... however they are awfully rude. I wanted to ask a question more of advice on a particular car and they just put the phone straight down on me before I even had the chance to talk. SERIOUSLY RUDE !
