Dishonest and careless. Replacement of a tyre on a Sunday one might expect to pay a little bit extra. £210 quid to shove a cheap tyre on. Wow. Less than 30 minute. The fitter misplaced the jack bending metal under the car. I heard it bang, so did he. When asked he said it was ok, sometimes they make a noise. I'm told a reasonably competent technician would have seen the damage as they would have checked before jacking the car up. They certainly would have known it had happened. During exchanges of emails there's been no mention of insurance, because they don't have any. They said that they had been quoted £80.00 to fix it so I could accept that or let their choice of garage fix it! Like I'm going to use a garage 40 miles away for a repair worth £80..00?! As it turns out, this wasn't a quote, it was a client of there's in return for a deal on cheap tyre fitting! More dishonesty. They lack honesty, integrity and competence.
Superb service. Waited for the AA for 2 hours then was told it would be at least another hour. Called North Tyres and in less than 30 minutes he’d arrived and in less than 45 minutes we were back on the road. Highly recommended
What an Absolute Star!!! So Amazing and polite. Arrived 20 minutes after I called and sorted me with a new tyre so I can head straight to work. Very reasonable in price, would highly recommend.
Had a tyre blow out on the M1 at around 5am an hour away from home and had to use an emergency refuge area. Called a couple of national tyre fitters who couldn't get there for several hours. Google searched for someone fairly local and in stress of situation didn't think to check reviews but lucked out calling North Tyres. Shared my location via WhatsApp and got a swift call back with quote and an estimate of 50 minutes to arrive. Fitter shared their location so I could see their progress and arrived earlier than quoted. Fitter was polite, professional and got us back on the road swiftly and helped me get the inside lane closed so we could safely pull away. Given the location, time of day and speed of response the price was reasonable.
My tyre went while on the M1 while near Northampton (Driving Portsmouth to Yorkshire). Managed to get to a safe spot in Freezing cold and dark on a Saturday night. I tried ringing all the leading companies tyre fitting companies and to no avail. North Tyres were there within the hour and fully fitted and on our way again. Absolutely cannot thank them enough.
Had an emergency tyre situation, they came out in 20minutes, replaced the tyre and took payment by card. He even put my space saver back in my boot with all the accessories! Price was so reasonable considering it was a last minute call out. I will definitely use them again if needed and would absolutely recommend!
