Took my VW polo in for a potential air conditioning fault. The lads at Blackridge Automotive checked it over for me and said everything was working correctly. Not my own personal garage and I had never been here before but i brought my Husbands bosses Audi to blackridge auto, I am currently borrowing his car! (This is his garage of choice) Needed a sensor. They were quick and efficient in fitting the car in, they accommodated the fact i had my children with me and I was in and out within the hour.
Went over to these guys yesterday with my Audi s3, since I had that common Audi gearbox problem “shift the gearbox back into p mode” spoke to a lovely chap called Connor who dealt with my car having read the name on his shirt he talked me through what was actually wrong with my car, what needed doing and what didn’t need doing, I highly recommend these guys, if it was Audi you would see a bill of £300 plus for the work these guys done pricing is reasonable I came all the way from london as I had to trust an Audi specialist touching a high performance vehicle my appointment was for 16:00pm I arrived at 15:30pm and they took my car in right away, they put the tv on for me upstairs gave me good customer service as I left that place satisfied. Once again guys thank you for your service I would be back again definitely when something goes wrong.
Have used Blackridge several times over the years and they really are very, very good at what they do. Clear communications, fair pricing, timeliness and cleanliness on top of great customer service. Have recommended them to several family and friends and will continue to use them going forward.
Great garage and great people! I highly recommend anyone experiencing problems with their car to come to this garage. I had a issue with my car which was hard to resolve and it was difficult to find out the specific reason why my car was not working, however Mark and his team did not give up and they had resolved the issue for me, thank you very much.
Highly recommend these guys, fast and efficient service and really helpful. Mark is possibly the most honest mechanic I’ve ever come across who is always happy to explain and talk things through so that it’s understood. Finally found my go to garage in Bedford.

Wanted to book an expensive gearbox oil change. Mark checked all the details and called back to fully explain why it was not required. Needless to say when it is required as well as any other work I will be in touch.
I had an EML on my Audi A3, they said it’s fuel temperature sensor. They changed it. I paid 160£. But the same error came back straight after I left the garage, I called them, they managed to get me in after 1 week, this time they said it has to be the wiring. They found it and fixed it, But also they said that another fault came on, and it’s throttle body. It was a big surprise, because I never had any problems and even when they done the diagnostic it was only fuel temperature sensor. I don’t know how and why throttle body was gone, But another 220£. And I only wanted to replace the faulty sensor, which was the only problem when I left my car at the garage. Communication very poor. I have been there before and they done a job, no problems, but this time was a disaster.
I have been using this garage for over 5 years now, and have never been stressed or whatever wirh my car as Mark has always done an excellent job and there is no room for complaints. This garage is highly recommended and by the way my daughter's car is going for service and MOT today at Blackridge Autos..
