By far the best cafe in the area! Every time I come to Bear I never want to leave. Can’t quite put my finger why I love it so much. Is it the ambiance, the acoustics, the decor, the view, the amazing coffee (which takes me back to living in Melbourne, renowned for amazing coffee shops!), the fabulous food or the friendly warm and welcoming staff? Whatever it is, it ticks all my boxes, please keep it up!

We frequent BEAR a lot and the last time I left a Google review was 2 years ago so I deleted it and created a new one... it's much of the same though! The food is delicious every time we come and there is always a lot of variety and good vegetarian options. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. And the atmosphere is quiet with nice views overlooking the river. Last weekend, we went because I'd gotten an email about the Christmas menu and I was keen to try the fondue for 2 with my partner, and it was fantastic. Normally, I'd recommend either the Full House Breakfast or the Chilli Cheese Brioche. My partner likes the Turkish Eggs and Loaded Flatbread. Highly recommended!

Love coming to bear for a treat and the new app with rewards is a great idea for returning customers. Always lovely service. The food was great, slightly different than normal but still yummy.

Tasty, fresh, vibrant lunch. Bear updates its menu every few months (although their favourites remain constant). It’s a casual dining experience indoors and you order at the counter. Several people choose to bring their laptops to work from here. Peaceful view over the river & outdoor seating if dry/warm. We are regulars

Service was friendly despite them clearly being busy. The food was fast, hot and delicious. The drinks were amazing as well. We would definitely return. There was a great variety as well with options you'd expect to find and also completely original options.

BEAR is a trendy cafe/restaurant with an interesting menu and lovely views over the river weaver. It is definitely worth visiting for something different. The Iced Matcha Latte was particularly nice. On the downside the staff are quite impersonal and distant. The poached eggs with smoked salmon and hollandaise had solid yolks which was disappointing. The food and drink is fairly expensive but you are mainly paying for the novel menu and the trendy surroundings rather than top quality food and service.

Went here for breakfast, I had the Buddha bowl and a passion fruit margarita whilst husband had banana and berry pancakes. Both plates not only looked really pretty but tasted yummy. Place has air conditioning and a nice view out over the river. Lovely way to start the morning

Love to come here for brunch or coffee. Sit outside for people watching and views of the river, or inside for a cosy and bustling atmosphere. Food is always great, plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

Great coffee shop, disappointed with the service - turned up for a coffee but it was almost like we were an inconvenience when we just wanted to sit down for coffees and when we went to put our order on the staff were busy talking to each other instead of taking the order. Disappointing as the coffee shop is generally quite nice and the quality of the drinks were very good.
