   Asked for a hot chai latte and it was lukewarm at best, not very pleasant either. £19 for 2 drinks and a bacon roll is a lot too, especially when nothing special. Some dairy free options for sweet treats but nothing particularly tasty- flapjack and protein balls

   Nice food and drink presented well. Plenty of outside seating. Friendly staff. Just far too expensive. Everything costs double for some reason. £4.50 for a standard (very tiny) smoothie. £7(!) for a bacon&sausage sandwich… and wait for it, £4.50 for a toasted tea cake! Lower your prices. I know it’s a National Trust spot but why rob us? Will bring a picnic next time.

   We visited with 4 adults and a child. We all had snacks (soup, pastie or sausage sandwich). They were all very good. Very well attended and quick service too. Just what you need on a cold day!

   Enjoyed a nice coffee sitting outside here. It was a cold Sunday afternoon but they had lots of blankets. It was quite late on and not too busy but we weren't made to rush. There was lots of choice and the quality and value was really good.

   Visited Christmas Eve 2022. It was lovely. Tables were set up outside (just a nite that there was no indoor seating) and a live band was playing. Lovely atmosphere. Food and drinks very good. Possibly worth checking closing times as I don't think Google accurate. They closed at 14.30 on Xmas eve.
