One of the oldest buildings in Uttoxeter. Real Ale excellent. Very rough and ready traditional pub.
Visited here before and after the races. Both times the bar staff were the same and couldn't crack a smile between them. Came back after the races and there was a dj on. Put in a request and I'm 3 double vodkas in and I'm still waiting. Draw your own conclusions from that.
Proper old pub. Full of character. Has a lot of history too if your interested in that. The staff are very friendly and happy.

Accessible entrance at the side. Space for me to sit to the right as I went in. Great pub quiz on Sunday and very friendly, welcoming staff and customers.
Large pub on the market place. Yet again it is a Bass outlet on hand pump. Very noisy disco pub on this Sunday. Had a quiz earlier and thumping music and flashing lights still going at 7pm. Big outside area courtyard, much of it covered.
